I believe the Prime Minister of Singapore when he told his citizens "If the numbers keep growing, at some point we will have to reconsider our strategy. If the virus is widespread, it is futile to try to trace every contact. If we still hospitalise and isolate every suspect case, our hospitals will be overwhelmed. At that point, provided that the fatality rate stays as low as the flu's, we should shift our approach."
But I guess the Prime Minister is a fear monger.
As a side comment, Singapore is hot and humid, which is not generally favorable to the spread of the virus.
