Legends speak of one who can produce a deuce that extends the length of the 3-foot drop, end to end, with no breakage and no "plop", but simply a gentle slide into the water as if you were dipping your toes into a comfortable warm bath after a long workday.rilloaggie said:EastSideAg2002 said:Is that why some stand on the toilets to drop a deuce?EMY92 said:

The novel coronavirus that has sickened thousands globally may transmit through the digestive tract, specifically the fecal-oral route, according to a report.
Scientists from the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University and the Wuhan Institute of Virology of the Chinese Academy of Science recently discovered "virus genetic material" in stool samples and rectal swabs from some patients, Chinese state media reported, according to Bloomberg.
Some patients infected with the novel coronavirus, 2019-nCoV, had reported diarrhea when they first fell ill, and not a fever, which has been a more common sign of the pneumonia-like illness. The finding is significant because researchers have largely focused on transmission via respiratory droplets from an infected person.
The first of the now 11 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the U.S. had suffered from diarrhea before falling ill with the disease, according to Bloomberg.
Also, never get a mint from the mint bowl in a restaurant. You might now get corona-virus.
And others just because they find the "plop" sound more satisfying after a 3 foot drop!

That's not accurate. SARS killed almost 800 with all but about 50 being in Asia. China and Hong Kong accounted for almost 700. 2019 nCov has killed more Chinese, but it has not surpassed SARS death toll globally.KorbinDallas said:
2019 nCov how has killed more than SARS and 11 cases confirmed in USA.

Funniest thing I've read all day. Anyone know where these numbers are being pulled from. I appreciate the simple and up to date breakdown in categories, but verification?
There are not that many people that remember the polio epidemic that ravaged so many children in the U.S. in the 40's and 50's and before. This new virus may be bad, but it is not something this country cannot overcome, especially with our resources and technology.Mr.Infectious said:
You've got to listen and analyze what they are saying. If the testing is only on those with severe symptoms (pneumonia/respiratory illness), it's going to sweep through the country over the course of the next few months.
Don't panic, not everyone is going to die. Most will feel like crap and have explosive diarrhea for a couple days but live, recover and build immunity. The unfortunate ones (old, very young, extremely unhealthy, homeless, and compromised immune systems) will struggle with it.
I suggest everyone start changing behaviors now to get ready now to be able to fight off the virus when you come in contact with it.
- Boost your immune system.
- eat healthy
- get sleep
- stay hydrated
- take your vitamins
- research home remedies
You have to take action now to save yourself a world of hurt. When this hits full strength, you will not be able to head to the quack shack and get in and out. It will take hours or days of waiting to see a doctor, if ever.
If you are a father, man up. It's time to realize this isn't going away. Your wife and children should be able to depend on your guidance and wisdom.
If you are a mother, research and understand what to do. Become the care-giver of the family.
If you are single and don't have anyone to rely on, start planning now. Communicate with friends, get each others backs.
We can beat this but it's going to take a community effort.

Vaccine? That wont be for yearsMouthBQ98 said:
Most people would be fine. Some few might get some permanent disability from it. The issue is even if it is 0.5% fatal, that is a hell of a lot of people, and it seems to take many people out for a couple of weeks. That's a lot of downtime. We can't afford to take this lightly, and it would be much better if we can keep it away from us until a vaccine is in production.
Environmental factors like this are what can impact the R0 in one country vs another. It does seem the spread in the United States is lower than China.IrishTxAggie said:
The reason that the Chinese need to act and quarantine their people and entire cities is because of the God awful population density and the horrible hygiene their people have. There's a reason that you're not seeing a mass spread in the developed nations.
First case in US was on January 19th (16 days ago).IrishTxAggie said:
