Those look like modular units built in shipping containers. They're likely temporary structures that were repurposed for this because they were readily available. You see those same types of units on jobsites all the time. Also, those windows don't look like they open or lock from the outside, as far as I can tell. They're just sliding windows.
If the danger is like H1N1 or H5N1 (swine flue / bird flu) it's not so much the virus itself but the cytokine storm. Steroids and immunosuppressant drugs could work against this, but it's tricky because then the virus could kill you.gigemJTH12 said:

Apparently more targeted drugs to shut down certain pathways but not cause an overall suppression of the immune system are in trials right now to stop this. The idea is to hit specific immune damping receptors like sphingosine-1-phosphate. I'm going to go ahead and make it clear I have no idea what this actually means.

At it's simplest, it basically means it isn't the infection that gets you, but your immune system's exaggerated response to the infection.

I am not arguing your point. The only one thing I would add is that it is a little different because 1. It's is a virus no one has seen before. 2. It has traveled 7,000 miles since it was first seen one month ago. That being said if we wash our hands and don't cough and sneeze on each other we are probably fine.

Using existing flu infections and deaths to downplay new strains is ignorant. Existing strains have built up community immunity, vaccines, and anti-viral treatments. Take the numbers you are using to downplay this new virus and take away any immunities, vaccines, or treatments - now what do you get if this virus spreads and is as prevalent as existing strains?
