I think it's a mild concern but certainly not the hysteria we are seeing. I don't know how anyone can dispute that. We have seen so few cases in the USA that if it wasn't politically expedient, it wouldn't even make the news.

And if your argument is that "it's more serious than flu", the initial stats were that it had a 2% death rate. This is higher than common flu but even the reporters of these stats admitted that there has probably been much misdiagnosis of this versus the common flu, so it probably had about the same death rate as common flu or even lower.
How about a Children of Men scenario? A very infectious disease that causes sterility without a single fatality. That is obviously a very dangerous disease.

Fatality rate is but one aspect, but I begin to be repetitive in repeating myself.

I actually do not think it will get that high. But we are headed for wuhan/Iran outcomes. China kept their numbers in check after Wuhn by testing and quarantine, things we are NOT doing. Look at the places that have kept it in check and look at what they are doing. WHO has said countries do not have to go draconian like china, but sound testing and quarantining works. We have handled this about as bad as we could have. Hopefully things change VERY soon.
