I think that's the point. The poster is using a Dem tactic.
The fact that the left is trying to pretend there is something wrong with this is mystifyingaggiehawg said:Congratulations! You have just made the most incredibly dumb statement in the history of the internet. I'll alert the Guinness World Record people on your behalf.Quote:
Sydney Powell is a defense attorney. Rudy Giuliani is the personal attorney of the man who oversees the DOJ.
And you claim you are a CPA? LOL.
ETA: Let me school you about being a person's attorney. You play both offense and defense. There is a reason that most successful Prosecutors become defense attorneys when in private practice. They fully understand the other side's mindset and tactics. Trump is being attacked, just not criminally but politically with lies and manufactured evidence. Rudy is representing his client's interests by refuting the media narrative.

Under what authority are you so qualified to bestow such an award so I can put it on my certificate?

The House will impeach. Politically, they have to at this point.
In the Senate, I think it depends on if Trump is required to testify or not.
If he has to testify under oath, he will almost assuredly perjure himself. If he doesn't testify, he'll be acquitted, no doubt.

Quote:
In Bob Woodward's book, Woodward describes how John Dowd made Trump sit for a mock interview to try to prove to the President that testifying for Mueller would be a terrible idea. Trump failed the test miserably, Woodward writes, and Dowd left convinced that the President could not survive Mueller's questioning without committing perjury. Dowd believed Trump was incapable of telling the truth.
In a shocking twist, Trump's lawyers later took a dramatic step and re-enacted the scene in front of Mueller. Dowd played the role of special counsel and posed questions to Jay Sekulow, who impersonated a combative Trump. Sekulow is still one of Trump's personal lawyers.
Dowd eventually advised Trump, "Don't testify. It's either that or an orange jump suit." Woodward reports that Dowd couldn't bring himself to tell Trump directly what he believed was true: "You're a ****ing liar."
If I was his lawyer, I'd strongly advise against it, but if he does choose to for whatever reason, I don't think it would go well for him.Deats said:Jimmy Valentine said:

Why would he testify? Tell me legally what he would need to refute or what would compel him?
Dowd refutes the story too. Woodward's reputation is pretty strong though. Who knows what's true. Either way, Dowd is a damn good lawyer who somehow convinced Mueller to only take written responses to Mueller's questions.Rockdoc said:
