It does defy logic why he would pick literally one of THE coldest nights even for Chicago. Unless he figured not many people would be out on the streets and it would be more believable. But that made it even less so.

I'd like to know what they have about the letter. Drop the hammer on this SOB. And this wasn't just some hate letter he sent to himself like some stories make it sound - it contained white powder and was sent to the studio. That is some serious **** and should ramp things up. Again, the indictment party is just getting started.

So... what kind of federal penalties do people get for mailing letters with threats and white powder in the envelope? I'm guessing that's kind of a big deal.
His flight was delayed big time that night so I think the attack should have occurred closer to 10pm than 2pm (still doubt many were out that night). The thing is even if these guys were wearing ski masks wouldn't a witness be able to tell they were black, I guess maybe not and they would have fled before anyone got a good look.annie88 said:

Oh well, just thankful it happened the way it did, especially with no camera catching it, which led to suspicions that this was a hoax from the jump.
