Yep. Fake hate crimes are even worse than real ones to me. With a real hate crime, most rational people are angry at the hateful person who perpetrated it. With a fake hate crime, an attempt is being made to falsely smear a whole segment of society which causes division and irreparable harm. It's unthinkable to me. The brothers are now cooperating with police.
