As Mitchell pointed out, repressed memory does occur but here she's changing stories and timelines without any explanation. The obvious conclusion is that she's being persuaded/influences to do so because '82 works better to accuse Kav. He's less likely to be able to disprove when in high school and more likely to have been in same proximity as her.

They're moving onto things that are completely subjective and really can't be proven. He never said he didn't drink. Whether or not he's been "blackout drunk" cannot be proven. I've been pretty gone a few times in my life and can remember the night. The only time I don't remember the night is when I sprained my ankle earlier that day and one of the girls in our group gave me something and said "these will help." I woke up the next morning on the hotel floor in my underwear spooning a golf bag. No hangover and ankle was fine, and I don't remember much after leaving the bar...I do remember stopping and getting more beer for the hotel (this was in LA).
Right. Blackout drunk would be almost impossible to prove. Many simply don't have that switch, which I know I don't. And trust me, I've tested whether i have many times. I can get drunk, stumble around, may say stupid ****, and then eventually go to sleep. But I'm conscious of it all and remember it all the next day.
I've read somewhere that only 40% of the population is susceptible to black-outs caused by drinking. It's a trait that can be a flag that someone that has the "alcoholism gene", although not a perfect one.

The only question that matters is whether Flake, Murkowski, or Collins buy into it. Those are literally the only three Americans that matter in any of this. Flake is all over the place on the issue so trying to pin him down is an exercise in futility. I'm sitting by to see if Collins and Murkowski start dropping any hints in the next few days that might give a clue as to how they are leaning.

The Hill published one that showed almost everyone against Kavanaugh.
However, once the same people were told the facts such as all of Ford's "witnesses" refuted her claims, then Kavanaugh's support went to 57% and to 60% if the FBI investigation finds nothing new.
Democrats who were polled didn't care one way or the other. They opposed him regardless.
Two other things and this goes back to Senator Whitehouse (Rhode Island a/k/a 'Farticus") pin-pointing July 1, 1982 from Kav's calendars.
Kav's calendar reveals he was at football practice from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. So he wasn't drinking brewskis during that time.
Ford testified that she still had her bathing suit on under her clothes. So she had not gone home to change before the encounter. Although she cannot specify whether she or Judge/Kav got there first, she did say they were both inebriated and had been drinking prior. She also said she thought the small gathering was a "pre-party" before a much later party that night that she couldn't attend because she had a curfew. (That last part is likely from her statement to Feinstein perhaps, but anyway it is part of the record.)
First question: what was her curfew? Second question: Did she have any memory of getting into trouble for breaking curfew? See where I am going here? She hadn't been home yet since she had her bathing suit on.
On nights that Kav had practice he wouldn't have been present until after 8:00 PM. This wasn't in the era of cell-phones and texts. She would have had to let her parents know where she was if she missed dinner. And where she had been if she broke curfew.
