My point was, one accused him of putting on these parties, the other said he waited in line to have his turn.tsuag10 said:
I think the 4chan thing might have been false. They might have been trying to take credit for him locking his Twitter account. I think.
It's also important to remember what she actually accused Thomas of: Trying to date her and then using dirty talk to make her uncomfortable after she rejected him. He said he rejected her and the charges were revenge. Which, IIRC, is similar to the Rolling Stone/Jackie story.aggiehawg said:Well, the FBI had investigated Anita Hill's story before her name ever became public. Anita's problem was that the people who worked with both her and Thomas didn't corroborate her multiple stories. Biden brought it out anyway.PanzerAggie06 said:
Its hard to compare the two as the Thomas/Hill affair was prior to the internet and social media. Back then it was the three major networks and CNN for news along with newspapers. It would be interesting to see how Thomas' "high tech lynching" quote would go over with the multitude of platforms now available to share information.
I'm beginning to think she shows up by this point, as well. The unreasonable demands from her legal team have stopped negating a last minute pull-out.FroWins said:

With all the other bs allegations coming out, Ford's are "the best." Dems are counting her as the "most credible" so Soros probably upped the ante for her to go ahead and testify.
I watched that intently (its when I learned to despise Biden) and this is at least as bad (so far), with the potential to be worse. Social media amplifies it tremendously.tsuag10 said:
Since I was only 7 yrs old during the Thomas/Anita Hill scandal, how does this compare in terms of the size of the circus?
That was what the guys were called. We called the girls.... we called them...PanzerAggie06 said:
She was 20 and in college and was hanging out at high school parties? In high school we had a term for a person like that: loser.

But the plan now is to disrupt the hearing with protesters to the point where it gets shut down. And yes, that will include protesters hired to scream at Blasey-Ford and create a hostile environment so her testimony is cut short. They'll make it appear like these are Tea Party women or some sort. Bet they are decked out in red, white and blue and the like.
As a professional woman, I was shocked that widdle Anita's feewings were so hurt by such ticky-tack office behavior. I looked at every one of her allegations and thought, "So what? Get over it already! Sheesh!"BoerneGator said:I watched that intently (its when I learned to despise Biden) and this is at least as bad (so far), with the potential to be worse. Anyone know what time the hearing is supposed to start tomorrow?
And ford, if she shows, will go first, correct?
