I doubt this very much. Even if a few will end up voting for Kavanaugh, I doubt they're cooperating with Grassley or telegraphing their intentions. I'm sure their party leaders are telling them to keep quiet and allow the delay tactics to play out.

IMO, that changes the odds of her showing up. It wouldn't surprise me for the Dems to double-down on this stupid and try to make it as big of a circus act as possible.

What the left needs to understand is that we are here, and they are in the predicament that are in because of them.

Much like Harry Reid changing the rules to allow a simple majority for judicial approvals has bitten then in the ass, their insistence on advancing their policies via judicial fiat rather than legitimate democratic processes has likewise deposited them in this position.

Yes it's more expedient to get an unelected judge to decree your policy into effect, but (much like executive orders) that leaves you open to those same processes being used against you.

If you had simply managed to convince a majority of your fellow Americans that abortion should be legal and subsequently enshrined that idea into law you wouldn't be worried that your favorite "right" might be imperiled by the very same illegitimate process you used to put it in place in the first place.

I am certainly no Trump acolyte, but I do derive great joy from his ability to routinely hoist the left by their own petard.
