Politicians know. They just lie about it. Casey is the decision that needs to be reversed for abortion to be illegal again, not Roe. Late term abortions could be at risk of being outlawed, when they crush a fully viable child's skull before delivering it, for example, since there isn't a living Dem who cares about a child, ever, if it isn't five years old.

A LUNATIC - who thought or dreamed it happened and convinced herself of some delusion via therapy and ascribes the attendees to be people she thought could have been there and it would not get scrutinized heavily

OR

A LIAR - who made it up and thought the witnesses she gave would at least claim ignorance not deny it and also hoped it would not get scrutinized a lot.

But saying she is BOTH is a little much. For her to be both she would have to have both made it up and believe it....oh wait you might be onto something.

That's why this should be shut down now, and not wait an extra four days. It only gives them more time to either dredge up more accusations, and/or fine-tune the inconsistencies in Ford's story.

As for why Grassley keeps bending himself over into a pretzel, it's either:

1.They have something on her that they are want to use in a public hearing to expose her for the fraud she is in front of the entire world for once and for all.

2. Either Flake or Collins is pulling a McCain, and threatening to vote no is they don't kowtow and let her speak to the committee, all in the name of "bipartisanship."

Whatever the reason, it has gone on way too long, and a good man and his family have been put through hell.

Not yet, AFAIK.

Nothing has been decided - the accuser agreed to testify and they are negotiating details. Well, that's not an agreement. So much wiggle room for accuser to squirm out of. Nothing good happens by delaying the vote - the left will smear Kavanaugh and the process even if they gave them 3 more months and everything they asked for. Hold the vote ASAP.

I'm hoping they realize that it isn't Trump's throat they are slitting. It is Kavanaugh's.
