I read this entire statement. At no point does she name ANY witnesses that can corroborate any statement other than say she knows some people. Her claim is based 100% on that Kavanagh and Judge were AT a party or two where bad things supposedly happened, but she does not claim he was a participant.

Correct. She indicates that she was a victim at an event where he was present.

It's classic CPL lawyer speak in paragraph 13- Judge and Kav are there, there's a "gang rape" going on, she was "raped" so the conclusion that everyone must jump to is that BK was involved. But the "victim" is protected bc she never expressly states that BK raped her. This is another nothing burger but with someone who does not appear to be as unhinged and a part of the militant left.

The third page of her statement says she was a victim of their date rape...

Everyone seems to forget that the original allegation was known for months and it is obvious the rest of the "allegations" are just fabrications from afar.

I can see the subtlety of them "being in line" is not the same thing as witnessing them entering the room or performing sexual activities.

I don't have a problem with that, given that Kavanaugh has calendars from 36 years ago.

What this illustrates to me is that a person that was merely told about an incident can remember exactly where and when she heard the story, but the person that actually experienced the sexual assault in question can't remember where it happened, when it happened or how many boys were there when it happened.

And the thing is, I am not even that picky. I am not bothered that she can't name the exact day and specific house it happened in. I was almost killed by an illegal 25 years ago. I can tell you the year, the town, I'm 90% certain of the month, who was with me, but I couldn't tell you the date or exact location.

For me this is all about timing, changing stories, no corroboration, Kav's rebuttals, and her background.

I would add the fact that her good friend who was supposed to be at the part doesn't recall it at all, and what are the odds that a girl experiences a traumatic assault at a small part and leaves without mentioning it to her good friend at that party. Even if she is in shock, thar would have been something so out of the ordinary as to stick with her good friend. But no, just crickets.

Nope. The Democrats will run with this and the media will give them all of the firepower needed.

Kavanaugh is now a rapist as far as all of them are concerned, and this will be more than enough evidence to prove it.

The Republicans will cave; they always do.

It will be interesting to see how much media play this gets ...

And how the GOP responds to it later today.

Her statement says nothing about Kavanaugh doing anything to her. She is not accusing Kavanaugh of assaulting her. She is accusing him of being at house parties where assaults occurred.

Just as a brief aside I wonder what Mark Judge is thinking about all this. As far as I can tell, he was just a nobody blog runner, now suddenly overnight he's a serial rapist

Interesting. She mentions numerous parties over the years in which all sorts of shenanigans took place that involved, most likely, 100s of different students. Students at schools in which the political ideology of those involved is fairly simple to ascertain. Elite private schools in DC are not exactly bastions of conservative thought. Thus, there should be dozens of witnesses stumbling forward to back up her claims. As one would assume their would be dozens of witnesses rushing to the Hill to back up Ford's claims. Yet, crickets.

Its very telling that Ford, an avowed liberal, can only come up with affidavits from people she recently told about the alleged assault while this woman, I don't believe her party affiliation is known yet, will probably be in the same boat.

Yep, she was careful not to make a sworn statement that Kavanaugh did anything to her sexually.
