DeFilippis set a trap and Sussmann's defense stepped right in it in bringing Joffe's CHS status into the open in court. That genie will not go back into the bottle and they know it and it's opens up an entire new line of evidence to be introduced. Well done.

Oh yeah there's an argument to be made, and still avoid the actual termination.

This guy Savage's account doesn't match up with others following live. Lots of eyeballs on this.

Claims that Sussman wanted to give the FBI a heads up so it wouldn't be caught flat footed when the article that they were planting in the New York Times came out and then claimed that the FBI shut down the article so the government theory is "nonsensical" is laughable. Anyone in this group that's paid attention to this massive book knows that the copy of what Sussmann brought them in an extra thumb drive that was given to Peter Strzok and we know for a fact that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were in contact with multiple media outlets trying to seed the story into the MSM about the background and the narrative of the Trump Russia collusion. It's plain in their own text messages. All the texts were showing frustration that the MSM was hesitating, and until Buzzfeed jumped off the deep end it stayed in the background. The FBI was all in from the Crossfire Hurricane Team's standpoint.

We are soon to find out that Marc Elias went into CYA mode and rolled over on his partner Sussmann and testified before the GJ previously and is going to be the slam dunk on Sussmann. He's going to be granted trial immunity to keep him from pleading the fifth.

Stay tuned

If that's the case, I'll prepare myself to be disgusted by the immunity terms. I'm sure it'll give him blanket immunity for life. Sorry to be pessimistic, but I just don't believe in our justice system anymore.

Durham used the term "trial immunity for a reason" it's works like queen for a day just during the trial.

For those that don't know, Van Halen had an album called 5150. Here's the source of the reference:

Quote:

5150 is the number of the section of the Welfare and Institutions Code, which allows a person with a mental challenge to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization.

Day two in the books and no Elias sighting yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Defense is going to have to explain Sussmann going to all the different agencies he did. Termination date of Joffe is crucial. Need to dig that up somehow. I'm betting Durham knows exactly.

And why was Sussmann handling Joffe instead of his handler Grosso? was it because it was post CHS termination?

Maybe Grosso recognized this as so toxic refused to engage? Didn't want his fingerprints anywhere near this as most others did

No Elias today. They are done for the day.

Two most interesting things of the day was...

1. They called it the DNC white paper.
2. Why didn't Sussman run it through his handler instead of taking it to Baker since he was an FBI CHI.

It's all those who came along after including Rosenstein, Mueller, Barr et al, and did absolutely NOTHING in urgent reaction which delivered accountability.
It would have been better if Rosenstein and Mueller had done nothing. They actively went after Trump even though they knew collusion was a Clinton campaign dirty trick.

How convenient that they had Rosenstein compromised according to their chat logs.

I think many of them may have finally given up on this when they figured out the judge is married to someone in the accused circles….
