Cases against DC swamp dwellers should always be moved to another venue. There is zero chance of finding an unbiased, un-affiliated jury pool. Everyone there is incestuous and invested in the survival of the swamp establishment.

Including the judges.
Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.”

We are soon to find out that Marc Elias went into CYA mode and rolled over on his partner Sussmann and testified before the GJ previously and is going to be the slam dunk on Sussmann. He's going to be granted trial immunity to keep him from pleading the fifth.

Stay tuned

Quote:

As many as three Hillary Clinton donors including one who also supported US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are among the prospective jurors for former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann's trial.

Special counsel John Durham's team objected to putting one Clinton contributor on the panel after the man said he would "strive for impartiality as best I can."

But the prosecution was overruled by Washington, DC, federal Judge Christopher Cooper, who said the man who works in public policy for Amazon and appeared to be in his 40s "expressed a high degree of confidence" that he could be impartial.

Cooper, nominated by former President Barack Obama, also said Durham's prosecutors could use one of its peremptory challenges to strike him from the panel for the trial, the first to result from his three-year probe into the government's investigations of purported ties between former President Donald Trump and Russia.

Judges can only remove people from a jury pool if questioning reveals they're not suited for service, including being biased in favor of one side or the other.

Durham sat behind his team in the courtroom's well, taking notes during the jury selection process.

In 2016, DC voters favored Clinton over Trump, 90.9% to 4.1%, and Democrats in the nation's capital now outnumber Republicans, 76.5% to 5.4%, according to an April 30 tally posted online by the local Board of Elections.

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Don't underestimate the loathing hatred even some democrats have for HRC.

Many yellow dogs still blame HRC for Trump winning because she was such a terrible candidate

Where are you getting this information? I see where he will be called as a witness, but this would be quite surprising. As Elias is probably a bigger fish than Sussmann, what would be the reasoning for offering him a deal on this? Go after even bigger fish? This is going to be great if true. That being said, it's D.C. and it involves the Clintons, so.....

Let's try putting on the common sense hat for a minute.

Durham laid the foundation that he will have the ability and will likely be granting "trial immunity" to certain witnesses.

What good would it do to go to all the trouble of putting Elias on his witness list for him to take the stand a plea the 5th?

We know there were over thirty witnesses that testified before the GJ according to Kash Patel.

Perkins Coie jettisoned Elias ASAP when Durham's probe started across their threshold to distance themselves from his toxicity.

Elias is now a drifting barge of toxic waste no one wants to claim and could be facing his own demise from multiple angles. Elias like Flynn knows where all the bodies are buried. IMHO he's about to become Sammy the Bull,

Question is what does he fear worse, life in striped sunshine or Arkancide or both.

Prosecutors like Durham don't waste witnesses of their right to remain silent on the stand. He's not likely to waste time with a hostile witness either.

You can chose to speculate differently but I'm sticking to my statement. If I'm wrong okay, but I'm guessing if I'm not dead on I'm pretty close.

Elias completes the conspiracy circle, he's the tie in to all the major players. Without him it's just a 1001 conviction with no jail time for Sussmann. There's a lot more at play here than that.

Stay tuned
