The firm was Stroz Friedberg, which ironically in 2017, produced a report for Alfa bank that debunked the dns data from Jean Camp as edited and not matching the actual data format.

Is Alfa Bank one of the entities that Mueller went after and got utterly destroyed in court?
This most likely, unless they lied to the OIG.BillYeoman said:
In regards to the FBI characters involved…..I assume the Justice Department will say that the Horowitz IG report already handled the issues with the individuals involved and changes are being made. Just my assumption
Joffe has a filed a motion to stop Durham from obtaining four crucial Fusion emails. Here's Joffe's argument why those emails are privileged. Basically Joffe hired Sussmann to give legal advice but since Sussmann couldn't do it, Fusion did. Total hogwash.https://t.co/OqYaBfAsP3 pic.twitter.com/UrSpdJ0E3F

So far both sussmann's opposition and joffe's opposition to durhams motion to compel have cited/referenced Fusions opposition motion which has yet to be filed.

I can only guess that Fusion is waiting for Buzzfeed to leak it first😉
Already caught Fusion GPS in a lie. 🤷♂️

Fusion GPS tells the Court it was retained by Marc Elias to support his "legal advice".
Compare to Fusion GPS book: Elias told them he needed their political research. pic.twitter.com/xSUoSxTrTF
I don't see how this filing helps Joffe at all.

Fusion argues that Perkins Coie needed to retain them in order to protect HRC and DNC from potential litigation... for making statements THAT THEY WERE PAYING FUSION GPS TO GENERATE. pic.twitter.com/YeHByS6n3F

If Fusions work was "not" to generate oppo research for public dissemination.. then WHY WAS SUSSMANN PAID TO DISSEMINATE IT TO THE PUBLIC, the FBI, and CIA? *while CONCEALING the clients names while so doing. pic.twitter.com/PoLP89RraX

Latham may want to reconsider its position that the court should lean on Durham to give Joffe immunity so he can testify in Sussman’s behalf. 🤣@ProfMJCleveland
— Leslie McAdoo Gordon ⚖️ 👠🇺🇸 (@McAdooGordon) April 19, 2022
@McAdooGordon and @HansMahncke aptly characterize the position taken by Joffe and by Fusion GPS concerning the curious position that Perkins Coie needed help from Fusion in advising the firm’s clients, Joffe and the Clinton campaign, on how to smear Donald Trump and not get sued.

2/ And if Joffe was using Fusion GPS to help with legal advise from Sussmann, as an intermediary, than of course Joffe would have been upfront with the flaws in data with Fusion & Sussmann, right?

1) Compare Fusion's current claim for their hiring to Oct 24, 2017 Perkins Coie letter re: their hiring of Fusion:

I'm pretty certain this is the reaction Durham was after.RulesForTheeNotForMe said:
Is it just me or are all the rats starting to scurry? Lots and lots and lots of finger pointing going on.
I hope Durham and his team have everything and they are just sitting back laughing watching these people flounder around knowing they are all going down, it's just going to take a while to keep fleshing out more and more co-conspirators.

These filings are all over the place. Durham has essentially positioned them in a circular firing squad and they are having at it. These are the reactions of treed animals.

In the Levy (Fusions lawyer) declaration attached to today's opposition filing regarding rolling productions:
— Mccabe's Porsche on Blocks (@Larry_Beech) April 19, 2022
"Also on March 11, 2022, Fusion GPS produced a privilege log in response to this subpoena."
So much for the compel motion is untimely argument.
IANAL, but my guess is that someone complained about the Motion to Compel being too late or some such. But Fusion GPS is still holding/giving up info that Durham has asked for earlier.American Hardwood said:
Can you explain this?
By virtue of this clever laundering machine, the goal was to permit everyone- the campaign, Joffe, Fusion, Steele, Elias, Sussmann and the rest of PC- to hide behind privilege and attorney work product protection when making statements based on false, fabricated stories.
— Kingmaker - Big IF! (True) (@KingMakerFT) April 19, 2022
This. It is very hard to untangle until you get the billing records which are not subject to privilege. The billing records provide not only a timeline but also a road map.will25u said:By virtue of this clever laundering machine, the goal was to permit everyone- the campaign, Joffe, Fusion, Steele, Elias, Sussmann and the rest of PC- to hide behind privilege and attorney work product protection when making statements based on false, fabricated stories.

"it wouldn't matter" if the Alfa Bank data was fabricated?
— Techno Fog (@Techno_Fog) April 19, 2022
It wouldn't matter if there was a conspiracy to provide false evidence to the FBI and CIA by Clinton lawyers, et al?
What a take. https://t.co/D5KfA9Cyvp
And if I recall back in 2017 Nunes and Kash Patel initially targeted the billing and bank records between FGPS and PC. At first they pushed back but then suddenly they produced the records they were requesting, and we got out first look at the payment schedules and money disbursements.aggiehawg said:This. Absolute? Yes. Proving it is much harder, however.Quote:

It's turning out to be a bad day for Sussmann. First, his buddy Joffe threw him under the bus by admitting that Sussmann did in fact lie to the FBI. An hour later, Fusion also threw him under the bus by lying to the court about why they were hired. Still waiting for Perkins Coie. pic.twitter.com/ZG9jOVVth8
