Is Alfa Bank one of the entities that Mueller went after and got utterly destroyed in court?

Just curious...are ANY of the initial FBI types, i.e., Page, Stroczk (SP), Comey, Bruce Ohr, etc. in any legal jeopardy relative to Durham's investigation...OR, is his efforts directed solely at Hillary's campaign minions??

Again, TIA!!!

I am guessing that they would have some sort of deniability.

"We were given that information from a credible witness in the past. How were we to know it was bogus!?!?"

If I remember correctly, they answered questions one way in front of the cameras and changed their tunes slightly in "closed" sessions. So media got the sounds bites they wanted but the truth happened behind closed doors. Why those two didn't correspond to one another is the real maddening part.

In regards to the FBI characters involved…..I assume the Justice Department will say that the Horowitz IG report already handled the issues with the individuals involved and changes are being made. Just my assumption

This most likely, unless they lied to the OIG.

Can a lawyer/firm get in trouble for claiming privilege when none exists and they know it?

Very rare for an intervenor in a criminal trial. At best, ask for permission to file an amicus brief.

These three filings seem like a mess....

Is it just me or are all the rats starting to scurry? Lots and lots and lots of finger pointing going on.

I hope Durham and his team have everything and they are just sitting back laughing watching these people flounder around knowing they are all going down, it's just going to take a while to keep fleshing out more and more co-conspirators.

I'm pretty certain this is the reaction Durham was after.

These filings are all over the place. Durham has essentially positioned them in a circular firing squad and they are having at it. These are the reactions of treed animals.

IANAL, but my guess is that someone complained about the Motion to Compel being too late or some such. But Fusion GPS is still holding/giving up info that Durham has asked for earlier.

This. It is very hard to untangle until you get the billing records which are not subject to privilege. The billing records provide not only a timeline but also a road map.

And if I recall back in 2017 Nunes and Kash Patel initially targeted the billing and bank records between FGPS and PC. At first they pushed back but then suddenly they produced the records they were requesting, and we got out first look at the payment schedules and money disbursements.

I think though Marc Elias' little ploy to hide behind privilege falls apart when they crossed the line and committed the crimes of lying to the FBI/DOJ and this may be where the conspiracy to commit fraud against the US Gov pops up in new filings. The crime-fraud exception to the privilege is pretty absolute is it not?

Absolute? Yes. Proving it is much harder, however.

I.e. "If we are all each other's clients, we can conduct any kind of conspiracy we want to with no leaks or weak holes!" The only question is if they had this idea before starting the process or sort of bootstrapped it once they realized they did have holes later on, just taking advantage of a tangle of prior relationships that were convenient.

Well I'm thinking maybe not

You have Sussmann, who at the time was a partner at Perkins Coie, acting on the behalf of Hillary and the DNC, billing them both for that time period, Passing off garbage data and content to the General Counsel of the FBI, and actually lied to Baker in writing.

Then you have FGPS who was also in the Employee of Perkins Coie Hustling a fake dossier all over the place trying to get the MSM to bite, and when that fails, they need to legitimize it, so they get their faithful employee Nellie to pass it off to her husband Bruce who also happens to be a DOJ attorney, who then passes it to the FBI.

Now today from the Joffe filing we find out if I'm reading this right that Joffe is admitting that Sussmann went to FBI and CIA on his behalf to push this fake DSN Alfa Bank product into the FBI relm to bring down Trump.

Honestly this looks like cut and dried conspiring to defraud the US Gov even if some of the members of the US Gov were in on it.

I guess my point is that we on this thread "knew" all of this years ago but getting the proof needed was a different question.
