Or, does Sussman just want to watch the world burn?
And is there any doubt whatsoever that those phones haven't already been completely erased just like all the other phones the IG catalogued in his earlier report?

At this point the subject of treason and sedition should start being used. They cost the country hundreds of millions of dollars (and obliquely trillions of dollars), ruined people's lives because they hated "orange man".
The fires of hell are not hot enough for these mf'ers.
I am with you there, but I have have this nagging feeling when he starts getting closer to the truth, he will be fully shutdown. Probably the only reason it hasn't happened so far is they don't know what he knows.richardag said:

So far we have one minion pleading guilty get probation, 400 hours community service, no jail time and only loses his job. I believe what he did was a felony and should deserve jail time, loss of his license and prohibition from any government occupation. (an offense that carries a maximum term of imprisonment of five years and a fine of up to $250,000)
I agree with your post completely but bolded the middle part because, while it is true, for those at the top of DOJ (and State), they are protecting their graft and corruption. Trump was simply a threat to this and they had to take him out. Remember how on this thread we had hope that Horowitz was honest? Turns out the OIG was all about protecting the criminals in the DOJ.CyclingAg82 said:I do, the scumbags that perpetrated these crimes, and put the country through the fictional story about Russian collusion, deserve to meet justice.nortex97 said:

Not very surprising is it? Hopeful that Jim Jordan will carry the torch, have no doubt that McCarthy is a swamp rat. Not enough republicans are screaming about this. Nunes is gone.3 Toed Pete said:I agree with your post completely but bolded the middle part because, while it is true, for those at the top of DOJ (and State), they are protecting their graft and corruption. So true. At least the Rs should take back the House and it really will be up to Jordan to carry the torch. Few others seem interested.CyclingAg82 said:Not very surprising is it? Those still doubting Durham and his intentions must either just must be chronic non believers or just not paying attention. The investigation appears to be growing and widening. That's not what usually happens in a sham investigation or a coverup. Taking on the in house OIG is a big step. I can understand initial skepticism, but if you are paying attention this is digging deep. This is how you flip the big players on the upper management. Perkins Coie has enough archives I'm sure to put all the top tier DC swamp under the jail.
Conservatives have been burned so badly in the past, get hopes up only to be dashed. I think most conservatives are hopeful but maintain healthy skepticism.sicandtiredTXN said:

This is so toxic unless Biden is going to fall on the sword, Garland won't touch this. Garland knows he's toast at the end of Biden's term. Biden's not going to be re-elected and I doubt he will even run regardless of what they say. If they run Joe again they are handing the White House to the republicans regardless of who represents them. Biden will be lucky if he's not impeached after 2022.will25u said:sicandtiredTXN said:

The reason there is so much hesitation, is because if it was truly a threat to the democrat establishment, the DOJ would shut it down. And not a word would be uttered by the MSM.
Garland is a partisan hack. He gets updates from Durham. He would shut it down quick fast and in a hurry if it was damning.
I love your fire and pray you are right. I also wish you could get this to rub off on the freaking wussy R's who keep ending up in DC.Quote:

......
This entire thing is radioactive. and the blowback of shutting down Durham at this point is suicide
2/ Key here is Durham did not "admit" he was told about Baker's phone previously and in fact OIG never claimed that either--OIG wordsmithed to make it seem as if they had. But OIG's silence on withholding Sussmann-Joffe documents confirms that's just what they did.

2/ Rather, SC ("Special Counsel") merely told court here's what OIG said. SC didn't comment on that or how ridiculous it was but just repeated the claims. SC could have said that is nonsense but didn't. So what did OIG say? NOT that Durham knew about OIT having Baker's

THREAD: So, yesterday I spent digging more on the phones FBI got access to. I've been trying to figure out what Durham's other investigation was that led to the mention of the phones. At first I assumed it was a leak investigation b/c Sessions was AG at that time. 1/

Durham's indictment of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman exposed that one of his other client's Rodney Joffe, illegally accessed govt databases to spy on Trump & his associates during the 2016 election. Data they claimed to have found in public data.https://t.co/NL1kBYSbmU

But the fact that Durham seems to be continuing his pursuit without apparent interference suggests he's holding some key cards in his hand that the AG and Democrat activists in DOJ are aware of.
