Either way, his reputation is shot and possibly his career as a federal judge, too.
Trump will fix it.

She has been a partner at two very high profile law firms and, in between, she was Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Fannie Mae.

I'd love to know when Wilkinson was General Counsel for Fannie Mae. From 2006 to 2010,, there was tons of shenanigans at Fannie Mae under one of Obama's cohorts, Franklin Raines. That SOB made every money job in the country more difficult because of his extremely questionable accounting.

Basically, Raines is a crook.

I'm not saying Wilkinson is bad, and likely quite the opposite, but it wouldn't look good if she was there when Raines ran things. Her husband is David Gregory. While I immediately distrust any major media mouthpiece, Gregory found God sometime ago, and is much more trustworthy than most of the corrupt talking heads.

That is a long read but very informative. It is amazing to me that Papadopoulus avoided all of the very carefully laid traps for him. The FBI was really screwing that guy around and later those same agents were screwing him over on behalf of Team Mueller.

Said it before, Van Grack needs his ticket ripped and should be criminally charged.

Twitter is getting more and more toxic and with a 24/7/365 access, I would imagine quite exhausting to continuously monitor it and respond. One of the many, many reasons I'm not on twitter.

Yeah, remember her from the 9/11 hearings where Counter-Intel on the potential plot didn't get to the law enforcement due to a memo she signed preventing such exchanges when she worked for Slick Willy. The Gorelick Curtain.

She certainly played a role but her sin there was one of many that had happened over a number of years after the Church Committee (in the 70s) hearing results. We seem to keep going back and forth on the pendulum here.

CIA was definitely OOC in the 60s, 70s even the 80s. They get their wings clipped but in an overboard fashion.

9/11 happens and the overreaction goes too far in the opposite manner, so the IC is unleashed same as they did in the freewheeling times. Now we are back at the contraction phase...again.

I'm 61. I'm tired of seeing the same mistakes being made over and over again. <sigh>

Attorney Obtains Evidence US Government Has Communications Between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks

Quote:

Attorney Clevenger sent a letter to ADNI Rick Grenell ten days ago.
According to Ty, the NSA, knows exactly who sent the records to Wikileaks. So does the FBI.
Clevenger goes on to state the most shocking statement related to the Russia collusion sham to date:
I am reliably informed that the NSA or its partners intercepted at least some of the communications between Mr. Rich and Wikileaks. Before elaborating on that, however, I should first note the extent to which the "deep state" has already tried to cover up information about Mr. Rich. In an October 9, 2018 affidavit submitted in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, FBI section chief David M. Hardy testified that (1) the FBI did not investigate any matters pertaining to Mr. Rich, and (2) the FBI was unable to locate any records about Mr. Rich. Both claims were unequivocally false.

From the letter....
Quote:

...... in one email Agent Strzok boasts about having "squashed" something pertaining to Mr. Rich.
The redaction codes on the email indicate that there was some sort of investigation pertaining to Mr. Rich, contrary to Mr. Hardy's affidavit. Furthermore, the email string originated in the Washington Field Office, which is exactly where I had originally asked the FBI to search. The FBI refused to search there and, even though emails have since surfaced from the Washington Field Office, it still refuses to search there for records about Mr. Rich.

On March 20, 2020, I deposed former Asst. U.S. Attorney Deborah Sines, the prosecutor assigned to the Seth Rich murder case. She testified that (1) the FBI investigated a possible intrusion into Mr. Rich's electronic accounts; (2) the FBI examined Mr. Rich's computer; and (3) the FBI did have records pertaining to Mr. Rich. Ms. Sines further testified that she met with a prosecutor and an FBI agent from Mr. Mueller's team (ergo there should be an FD-302 form from that interview). Again, this flatly contradicts the FBI's official narrative that (1) Mr. Rich was never the subject of an FBI investigation; and (2) the FBI has no records pertaining to Mr. Rich.

Everyone's work on this thread has been fantastic. The more I read and learn, the more disgusted I get with the state of our country and it's government. Based on outcomes of the past, I fear all of this work will amount to nothing. No perp walks, no justice. It truly is a sad state.

It's soon time for a modern day revolution to preserve our country. I don't know what that looks like, but things need to change.

Yeah, related to this is the testimony of CrowdStrike Shawn Henry saying basically that there was no determination that Russians exfiltrated the DNC server. There was only evidence that the server was exfiltrated.

If it turns out that it was Seth Rich, then besides $46,000.00 in Facebook adds and the Hillary funded Steel Dossier that solicited Russian garbage disinformation, where is the evidence that Russians interfered in the 2016 election?

NO AMNESTY!

in order for democrats, liberals, progressives et al to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things; by pretending "not to know" there is no guilt, no actual connection to conscience. Denial of truth allows easier trespass.

Only thing pathetic is you guys trashing a dead guys parents because they won't play along with your bull**** partisan political fantasy.

Almost as pathetic as the notion the Bill Barr's justice department would be complicit in the cover up of a murder scheme perpetrated by the DNC.

Remember this post when the FBI is finally forced to admit that they did investigate Seth Rich's murder and his leaking to WikiLeaks just as they have been forced to admit that the entire premise of the Trump-Russia investigation was a hoax. Dry-aged crow will be served without chasers.

That's a possibility but, if we have learned anything over the past three years it is not to trust the FBIs claims that no investigation was conducted, that no documents responsive to the FOIA exist, and that the senior leadership can be trusted, especially with Wray at the helm. Again and again the FBI and Main Justice bureaucrats manage to get beneath the limbo bar of lowered expectations for professionalism and ethical conduct.

To me it's clear the Barr DoJ, while not seeking to be involved in new politicized scandals (oh, heaven forbid any leftists are ever prosecuted/incarcerated), does not want to really be transparent about what happened in the prior regimes (FBI and DoJ), as it is all too damaging to the institutions, respectfully.

The pattern of redactions, slow walking answers/documents to Johnson/Grassley etc., and ongoing lack of transparency about things as wide ranging as the Flynn transcript/FD302's etc., to the documents from the Rich investigation that really did occur, all add up to a high level of consistency.

A ton of little things also could have been done to drive real answers, such as for instance seeking a court order to get a review of the lover birds personal phone messages, rather than allowing Pete/Lisa to just check them themselves for any work related content and declare 'nope, nothing to see here.' The abdication on the Wolfe prosecution. The lack of follow up on the overt lies to congress during impeachment testimonies (Yovanovich was the worst). The fact that McCabe, Comey, and Clinesmith have not been indicted/prosecuted. The lack of production of at least the three scope memos Rosenstein authored for Mueller. I could go on, but even a handful of action on production of the above documents would have been an indicator of good faith.

Back to your Q1: if they didn't find anything, they should be able to come out and say so, and at least admit it was investigated and the answer is no. But that's not what they have said.
