I believe that reference is to the Concord case wherein one Russian defendant hired counsel and showed up to contest the case and conducted (or tried to conduct) legal discovery from Team Mueller.

The case was one that Team Mueller never thought would be contested. Just a PR stunt but they went after a Putin bestie. He had his company hire lawyers to fight the charges. And Team Mueller disgraced themselves, over and over and over again. Case was a disaster from the moment they were challenged with a defense.

ETA: If the case that was quietly dismissed was the GRU case, that would be for lack of prosecution. Again, just a PR stunt to hurt Trump when he was meeting with Putin in Helsinki. POS indictment that should never have happened.

Tom Fitton said today that Trump should pardon Flynn, even assuming he gets the case dismissed (or is exonerated).

His reasoning, which I agree with 100%, is if Trump loses, they'll go after Flynn again on one of our millions of laws. I believe the judge will dismiss, having learned some of Sullivan's dislike for prosecution on this thread, or maybe I should say lack of complete trust in prosecution.

Good way to end the day.

Seriously though. I am full on engaged in this war, and that is what it trully is a war. If we lose then my kids will get swept! This isn't just about Trump, it's about our US culture.

The reason I said refer this to Dershowitz is because A) he's a civil libertarian and great defender of the First Amendment; B) he has a bully pulpit in which to broadcast these concerns; and C) he has the resources (read students) to work on reaching out to people to bring a class action suit forward pretty damn quick. Plus he's rich enough, he'll do a lot of it pro bono. This is right up his alley, since the ACLU won't touch this with a ten foot pole.
