Very clearly this letter reveals that there had been previous letters originating from this cabal in which the responses assured them that certain sensitive info was being withheld by the DOJ/FBI from Trump & his lawyers. Huh???? And Rosenstein has assured the President that he is not under investigation?

Wray and Rosenstein apparently have forgotten which branch of government they work for. Yes, they have a statutory duty to report to Congressional oversight. But that duty doesn't extend to dereliction of their duties and responsibilities owed to the President.

Pop's already been sentenced. He is now free to talk more or less, and to try to restore his reputation and exact some measure of political justice if he was in fact rail-roaded.

It must suck for those who fight their whole lives to achieve power - planted themselves in DC, jockeyed for positions, surviving the backstabbing and mud slinging, burning friends, and finally reaching the top of their kingdom... just to look out and see the constitution divesting that power to their hometown garbageman.

I get why they resist. What I dont get is why they continue to collect tax financed paychecks.

I'm sure the FBI/DOJ will deliver promptly, I just expect everything to be redacted.

We'll see, but it fits the MO of the folks at DOJ doing the research before allowing a doc to see the light of day. Besides, it make it easier for the Left to say "well, we delivered", which they will.

I usually find Sara Carter very credible in her reporting. But I think something must have been lost in translation about this "two books" story. Might have been some secret files closely held by the bad actors at the top but not to the extent she implies here. (Shades of J. Edgar Hoover's dirt files on every politician and leaders like Martin Luther King, Jr.)

I am also not seeing a logical reason for Wray (nor even Rosenstein for that matter as his direct supperior) to be that reluctant to clean up messes that occurred well before their watches. Just doesn't make that much sense to me. Sure, they are both long time swamp dwellers but protecting cronies and friends at the expense of their jobs seems overwrought to me.
