I don't dislike McConnell as much as some here do, although I do have issues with him.
But, Fire and Brimstone and McConnell just don't seem to go together. I realize the difficulty of his job, at least the Senate leadership. To my knowledge, it's probably like a referee or an umpire, in that if you don't notice them, then they're probably doing a good job.
I just can't see him giving a "kiss mine" speech, or rather a really good "kiss mine" speech.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
