Well filing that indictment was a shot across the bow at Trump on the eve of the Helsinki Summit. There's always the possibility that Putin provided Trump with some documents or evidence of some sort.

Wouldn't surprise me if Dixie is correct and the WH is sharing things learned from Putin

Looks like the charges were filed by DOJ national security prosecutors, not Mueller. The investigation into Butiina has been proceeding for some time and was carried out parallel to Mueller's investigation, F.B.I. agents raided her home in April, and confiscated a laptop and phone. Seems she came to the US in 2016 on a student visa.

Seems like being "summoned" (as the earlier tweet stated) does not equate to routine.
