Is this another one of those conspiracy theories IDAAG speaks of that has now been proven true?

Nicely stated! "Obama had my wires tapped" was also a conspiracy theory that people like idc shouted down with much ferocity... yet, here we are!

Takes six to eight months to obtain an indictment. And yes, our judicial system is just that broken.

With the Wolfe indictment, they sealed it and then kept it on going to nail other leakers.

And funny that Manafort's crew would be sure to put an extra boot into their ball sacks for using the Mueller bail motion as an attempt to taint the trial, not for any legitimate legal purpose.

Mueller never planned to take any of these cases to a jury outside of an all black DC jury, if that. Conviction was never his point. Why he used information charges instead of grand juries for all of his guilty pleas. (Gates was an exception, sort of.)

I have no idea if the latest (Mueller's third bite at the apple ) allegations have legs or not. Not seeing a whole lot in the allegations so far that cannot be rebutted by the defense.

Mueller going for civil asset forfeiture is a bold move, though. Means when the Clinton Foundation goes down hard under the same rationale, Mueller started it. Yeah, he went there.

While our world views my indeed differ, the fundamental difference between us is how we treat people with opposing view points.

Your goal is to eviscorate those you disagree with by attacking their integrity. I read many of your posts on the Q thread and you treated folks with the same level of indignation.

For someone who claims to be an "old" you have a long way to go in learning to treat people with decency and kindness.

Based on what we know thus far, Huber has been operating in tandem with Horowitz. Hopefully that includes sitting grand juries hearing several of these cases already. There is a high number of sealed indictments, some may be related to wrongdoing in the swamp and if so they will be unsealed within weeks of the release of the report.

If there is any impartial justice left in America, we will see indictments rolling out over the next year or so. About 50 people went down (not including Nixon's resignation) over Watergate and that took about two years after the initial break-in.

Andrew McCarthy's latest...entertaining & informative.

Good article thanks for posting. Heck even the WaPo understands this "attack on the press" started under Obama. From yesterday's WaPo:

Headline:

Quote:

Shocked by Trump aggression against reporters and sources? The blueprint was drawn by Obama.
Some excerpts:

Quote:

But Trump's anti-press bluster aside, there's a clear blueprint to follow courtesy of Barack Obama, who once claimed that he would be the most transparent president ever but proved to be no friend to press rights.

Quote:

Under Obama, the Justice Department subpoenaed the telephone records of AP journalists as investigators pursued a leak.

It also went after Fox News reporter James Rosen and named him as a "co-conspirator" in a leak about North Korea's nuclear program.

And James Risen, then a New York Times reporter, struggled for years to avoid testifying about his confidential source during the leak investigation of Jeffrey Sterling, a former CIA officer.

Quote:

But the pursuit of Rosen may have been the most extreme of all the Obama-era cases.

The Justice Department used security badge access records to track his comings and goings from the State Department, The Washington Post wrote at the time: "They traced the timing of his calls with a State Department security adviser suspected of sharing the classified report. They obtained a search warrant for the reporter's personal emails."

Eventually, the pursuit of Rosen was dropped, as was the government's characterization of him as a co-conspirator. Eventually, Risen was let off the hook, too.

But what happened under Obama set an ominous tone for reporters who were trying to do their jobs of informing the public.

So did the Obama administration's record-breaking use of an arcane century-old law the Espionage Act which it used nine times to pursue leakers
This is the only recent article I have seen on this. The MSM has selective amnesia as usual:

Not entirely accurate. We have Judge Sullivan (Flynn case) and Judge Ellis (Manafort Virginia case). Either one or both of those judges can blow a huge hole into Team Mueller. Ellis can rule that Mueller's jurisdiction is too broad and thus defective, suppress evidence obtained from the raids on Manafort's home and storage unit, or dismiss the charges outright for other reasons. (Prosecutorial misconduct.)

Judge Sullivan can land on Team Mueller with criminal sanctions for violating his Brady order if in fact the Flynn 302s were altered to manufacture a case against Flynn and throw out his guilty plea. If that were to happen, the dicta Judge Sullivan chooses to use in making that ruling will be illustrative. It is very conceivable if he is incensed enough he could recommend to Flynn's lawyers that they file suit for violations of Flynn's civil rights immediately.

But notice one other thing, the grand jury hearing the Cohen matter are still waiting on the Special Master to review the material seized from Cohen's home, offices and hotel room. That's being handled by the SDNY and should be separate from the Mueller investigation. However, Mueller made a referral to the SDNY. We do not know what was in that referral, nor do we know where and how Mueller obtained the evidence to support it. So that could be a complicating issue in that case, too. Judge Kimba Wood, or no.

That leaves us with Judge Amy Berman Jackson in the Manafort DC case. She has already expressed her hardline approach towards Manafort, berating him for saying he was innocent and would fight the charges on twitter in what she considered a "violation" of her gag order on Manafort. She would be obliged to take judicial notice of the rulings in Judge Ellis' court. If his ruling cast doubts on the extent of Mueller's jurisdiction, that would directly affect the case in her court and bring things to a screeching halt pending appeals in the Virginia case.

Keep in mind that the 4th circuit is stacked with Obama flunkies at the moment. So a good draw at the panel level may result in an en banc to provide a fig leaf to cover Mueller. Of course, by that point, Ellis could have done enough damage (simply by making things public) that the 4th circuit could'nt unopen Pandora's box.
