That tweet is such a fantastic example of the sheer unapologetic audacity of these people
Is this another one of those conspiracy theories IDAAG speaks of that has now been proven true?

Mueller signed this one himself and is seeking forfeiture of assets.
Like I said. It's about ego, not justice.
Yeah the dog hates it, takes some serious treats. Makes me laugh though, so there is that.benchmark said:ROTFLMAOaggiehawg said:

I'll ask that you enlighten my ignorant ass on that one.blindey said:
I called it on that one.
And funny that Manafort's crew would be sure to put an extra boot into their ball sacks for using the Mueller bail motion as an attempt to taint the trial, not for any legitimate legal purpose.
I was contemplating why you had such an emotional reaction to my first post. And then I remember that you and I have had an earlier loggerheads a few months ago. You believe the Sandy Hook shooting was staged with crisis actors. And I took exception to that.Reservoir Dog said:IDAGG said:I'm dismissive of conspiracy theorists and their warped and deranged view of reality.Reservoir Dog said:IDAGG said:How much is a John Birch Society membership nowadays?Reservoir Dog said:

You're pretty much a dick towards a good portion of the people you respond to.
I have simpathy for you because it's clear you were beaten excessively as a child.
As you move through life, I hope you find out sooner rather than later that nobody likes condescending *******s.
Oh geez, Thought police much?!?! So, you don't believe there are power brokers behind the scenes investing huge dollars trying to steer public policy?

So given that, I can tell our world views are far apart. I will make you a promise. I will try my best to remember your username and never reply to any of your posts. If I forget and do reply, please remind me. Peace.

Mueller never planned to take any of these cases to a jury outside of an all black DC jury, if that. Conviction was never his point. Why he used information charges instead of grand juries for all of his guilty pleas. (Gates was an exception, sort of.)
I have no idea if the latest (Mueller's third bite at the apple ) allegations have legs or not. Not seeing a whole lot in the allegations so far that cannot be rebutted by the defense.
Mueller going for civil asset forfeiture is a bold move, though. Means when the Clinton Foundation goes down hard under the same rationale, Mueller started it. Yeah, he went there.

Can the two parties with your personal squabbling over petty crap please take it elsewhere. Doesn't add anything to this long running thread and derailment is just not an option here.

Based on what we know thus far, Huber has been operating in tandem with Horowitz. Hopefully that includes sitting grand juries hearing several of these cases already. There is a high number of sealed indictments, some may be related to wrongdoing in the swamp and if so they will be unsealed within weeks of the release of the report.Quote:
6 month time frame for grand Jury indictments to evolve from the OIG report OR will impatience be sated like soon by information charges?
Good article thanks for posting. Heck even the WaPo understands this "attack on the press" started under Obama. From yesterday's WaPo:drcrinum said:Quote:

Andrew McCarthy's latest...entertaining & informative.
Some excerpts:Quote:
Shocked by Trump aggression against reporters and sources? The blueprint was drawn by Obama.
Quote:
But Trump's anti-press bluster aside, there's a clear blueprint to follow courtesy of Barack Obama, who once claimed that he would be the most transparent president ever but proved to be no friend to press rights.
Quote:
Under Obama, the Justice Department subpoenaed the telephone records of AP journalists as investigators pursued a leak.
It also went after Fox News reporter James Rosen and named him as a "co-conspirator" in a leak about North Korea's nuclear program.
And James Risen, then a New York Times reporter, struggled for years to avoid testifying about his confidential source during the leak investigation of Jeffrey Sterling, a former CIA officer.
This is the only recent article I have seen on this. The MSM has selective amnesia as usual:Quote:
But the pursuit of Rosen may have been the most extreme of all the Obama-era cases.
The Justice Department used security badge access records to track his comings and goings from the State Department, The Washington Post wrote at the time: "They traced the timing of his calls with a State Department security adviser suspected of sharing the classified report. They obtained a search warrant for the reporter's personal emails."
Eventually, the pursuit of Rosen was dropped, as was the government's characterization of him as a co-conspirator. Eventually, Risen was let off the hook, too.
But what happened under Obama set an ominous tone for reporters who were trying to do their jobs of informing the public.
So did the Obama administration's record-breaking use of an arcane century-old law the Espionage Act which it used nine times to pursue leakers
Not entirely accurate. We have Judge Sullivan (Flynn case) and Judge Ellis (Manafort Virginia case). Either one or both of those judges can blow a huge hole into Team Mueller. Ellis can rule that Mueller's jurisdiction is too broad and thus defective, suppress evidence obtained from the raids on Manafort's home and storage unit, or dismiss the charges outright for other reasons. (Prosecutorial misconduct.)Rockdoc said:
What worries me are all these judges that were appointed by obama are everywhere. They still think he's a god. All I want is justice.
