Relax. The hammers are not going to start falling until the OIG Report is released. They (DOJ/Sessions) need cover else the MSM will crucify them for being partisan. Remember, Horowitz was appointed by Obama, and he undertook his investigation while Obama was still POTUS -- January 12, 2017. The MSM can't bury that fact no matter how they spin it. Trump/Sessions had no authority to direct Horowitz to undertake such an investigation.

I'm also concerned about the level of contacts between the FBI and CrowdStrike. What kind of work were they doing for the FBI? How much clearance did their employees have? Did CrowdStrike also work with the NSA?

I honestly think them along with a dozen other contractors had carte blanch access throughout the IC until Rogers slammed the door on them. Luckily some low level monitor was actually doing his job and saw the excesses happening finally and flagged it and brought it to the boss. Rogers did it by the numbers ran the audit and exposed them to the incoming President-elect. Heaven knows what all them and others had going on. Besides the complete weaponization of our IC, the embezzlement of our country overseas is a scary thought.

I'm betting that the excess of the unmaskings in 2016 flagged an issue and the audit dug deeper and revealed the surveillance abuses. that's why Rogers went straight to Trump Tower to warn the PE to stop taking in TT and mover your HQ and sweep for bugs.

They actually could bury it...they simply will attack the DOJ/Sessions and barely mention Horowitz at all and DEFINITELY will not mention he was appointed by Obama. Fox and a few other conservative outlets will scream it from the rooftops but ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/MSNBC won't mention it at all.

However, if there is damning testimony and evidence released/leaked (gmail/texts etc) that's when hopefully millions of sheep get red pilled.

Not sure about their connection to the FBI, but Steven Chabinsky, the general counsel and chief risk officer for CrowdStrike, was appointed by Obama to the Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity two months before the June report that alleged a Russian conspiracy.

Don't forget: TCTH believes CrowdStrike was one of the 'private contractors' performing unauthorized 702 Queries outlined in that special 99 page report from the FISA Court.

Then, regarding CrowdStrike's report on the DNC server hacking:
https://medium.com/theyoungturks/crowdstrike-the-dncs-security-firm-was-under-contract-with-the-fbi-c6f884c34189

Quote:

...
TYT can report that at the same time CrowdStrike was working on behalf of the DNC, the company was also under contract with the FBI for unspecified technical services. According to a US federal government spending database, CrowdStrike's "period of performance" on behalf of the FBI was between July 2015 and July 2016. CrowdStrike's findings regarding the DNC server breach which continue to this day to be cited as authoritative by everyone from former FBI Director James Comey, to NBC anchor Megyn Kelly were issued in June 2016, when the contract was still active....

In April 2016, two months before the June report was issued, former President Barack Obama appointed Steven Chabinsky, "general counsel and Chief Risk officer" for CrowdStrike, to a presidential "Commission for Enhancing Cybersecurity," further demonstrating CrowdStrike's intermingling with powerful Democratic Party factions....

And Strike Three: President & CSO of CrowdStrike is Shawn Henry, a retired former executive assistant director of the FBI.

CrowdStrike has a nefarious relationship with the FBI to say the least. And CrowdStrike is also in bed with Google.

Pretty scary stuff, in my view. The fact that Google owns a large chunk of CrowdStrike is concerning enough. Throw in the deep connections to the FBI and possibly NSA and they have the keys to the kingdom.

And don't forget how all these tie together around one law firm and Mueller. Remember In late April 2016, the DNC's IT department claimed to have noticed some suspicious behavior and contacted DNC CEO Amy Dacey. Dacey then reportedly reached out to DNC lawyer Michael Sussmann, WHO IS a partner at Perkins Coie and a former federal prosecutor specializing in cybercrimes under Holder/Lynch at the DOJ. Sussmann called Shawn Henry, who was appointed by Mueller as the the executive assistant director (EAD) of the Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch (CCRSB) of the FBI, and is now the president of cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, to get his company's help.

Why not go to the FBI in the first place? And why deny the FBI access to the servers when they requested it? It was a cover-up, most likely.

I have been trying to wrap my head around how the chain of custody would have been handled in the event of a prosecution of the hacker. Conclusion? There was never intent on either the DNC's nor FBI's part to prosecute anyone in relation to it. And that decision was made immediately.

I'd be willing to bet you guys that Eric Schmidt is right in the middle of this with Crowdstrike.

Since he now has soooo much time on his hands, is worth about $13 billion, and has already done thousands of hours of work for the Dem party over the years, he likely knows exactly what's going on with the old DNC.

Oh I think the whole hacking this is BS, and all the Happy Bear Fancy Near nonsense that Crowdstrike determined within 48 hrs of being notified, of the reported issue. It was part of the beginning of the forming of the narrative after Hillary lost. I don't think it ever happened, I think those findings were invented after the loss not back in April.

Why didn't they come out immediately during the election back in April of 2016 that they were hacked by two stooges in Estonia?

They were embarrassed by the emails, but the fix was in and Bernie was toast, they just moved on, then Wikileaks changed the game, they immediately had to figure out a way to spin it if they lost. CrowdStrike comes up with the Happy Bear Fancy Bear nonsense and Assange had to be working for Putin. And after the loss they started wallpapering the media with garbage to try and overthrow the election results.

But he worked for mueller for 10 years at the FBI and 3 years at the DOJ, as a DOJ investigator, prior to leaving to crank up Crowdstrike. The entire point of the conversation you waded into, was all these people's ties to Mueller.

In 2007,Henry was named deputy assistant director of the FBI's Cyber Division, with program management responsibility for all FBI computer investigations worldwide By Mueller. He was an original member of the National Cyber Study Group, which developed the Comprehensive National Cyber Security Initiative (CNCI) put together under Mueller. In September 2008, Henry became assistant director of the Cyber Division, where he played a central role in restructuring the FBI's cyber strategy and investigative programs appointed by Mueller. Henry spent 21 years in the FBI/DOJ
