Like that was such a novel idea no one had thought of it before. And said government contractor has nothing to do with intelligence agencies, nosiree. Which is precisely what government contractor(s) are instructed to say when they work with classified information.Quote:
It was a MISUNDERSTANDING! Details in the article. Wipe Michael Caputo from your memory banks.
Oh, and this: keep in mind that Halper was paid through the Department of Defense. Misunderstanding? Or is this article damage control??

Well he's confessing pretty much to doing it, now they will excuse lying about it to everyone, on necessary secrecy. I look at it as they are just trying to soften the crash they know is coming.aggiehawg said:

Secret FBI Team That Coordinated Set-Up of Trump Was Pressured by CNN Guess Who Was CNN DOJ Reporter at the Time?
CNN Hires Valerie Jarrett's Daughter
CNN has assigned the daughter of one of President Obama's top advisers to cover the Department of Justice.
The network announced in a press release that Valerie Jarrett's daughter Laura would be one of four reporters to cover the Justice Department in 2017. The New York Post broke the news that Jarrett had been hired in September, though a formal announcement about her beat did not come until Thursday.
Jarrett has long wanted to work in television news, though being an objective reporter was not her original goal. She told Vanity Fair in a 2009 "Bright Young Things" profile that her chief ambition was to "work as a TV-news legal analyst." Her favorite cause was "promoting civil rights and social equality for women and minorities."
I am starting to seriously consider that this all traces back to Seth Rich. DNC 187's him, then has to cover his theft of Anti-Bernie emails and data with a Russian hacking narrative (this is why the server is never examined by authorities). In making the cover-up so big that it swallows the crime, they must foster the perception that the Ruskies had their fingers in the Trump campaign as well. No we are so far afield from the initial question of Rich and the DNC server. Mission Accomplished.Stlkofta said:FriscoKid said:
How long ago was it that a certain 3* poster kept using the laughing face on every single post talking about Russia?
He told us to just wait... He's got a sack of crows to eat around here.
The story is hitting the fan bigly this week.
That individual is waiting for the DNC talking points to arrive. Like other leftists on this forum, they have a distinct inability to engage in their innate ability to reason after Perez, Pelosi, and Shumer tell them how to think on all matters political.
The Obama Administration has an established record of using intelligence resources and/or government enforcement tools to intimidate or spy on political enemies.
This time there isn't a Holder or a Lynch around to serve as a firewall against oversight, investigation, and prosecution. There isn't a weak-kneed Main Street Republican around to quit on an investigation after a henchman pleads the 5th Amendment to protect her higher-ups. We have a POTUS who isn't a member of the McConnell/Boehner Surrender Wing of the GOP. This man is a street fighter...and those who rigged this up are about to understand that this guy isn't a member of the Bush/Rockefeller Country Club.
It is clear they were spying on the Trump campaign for political purposes...and I don't think Trump will end up being the only Republican candidate they were spying on. We're going to end up realizing that this was done to Cruz, Paul, and probably Bush as well. We may very well find out that these same mechanisms were put into play against Romney in 2012.
The Russia canard was merely cover attempting to prevent discovery of the true nature of the abuse of power emanating from the Obama Executive Office.

The problem is that the spying (or attempted infiltration) on the Trump campaign began before the alleged "hack" of the DNC computers. And who else had unfettered access to the DNC system? DWS' bestie, Imran Awan.Quote:

Yep. The Obama administration was unmasking (spying) on Republican candidates and their campaigns long before the Spring of '16.aggiehawg said:The problem is that the spying (or attempted infiltration) on the Trump campaign began before the alleged "hack" of the DNC computers. Did he frame Seth Rich? And get him killed in the process? That might explain Assange's involvement after Seth was murdered. Assange knew Rich was framed, perhaps?

For all the grief that Trump gets for his tweeting, Comey's and Brennan's are far worse. Nothing like drawing a target on your chest with a criminal admission on twitter. Like criminals filming themselves committing a crime and posting the film on FaceBook.

Mueller has more on his plate than babysitting his bestie at this point. He's trying to keep his cases against Manafort and the Russians alive.mrad85 said:

Well the initial spying was taking place prior to July 10, 2016 (As early as March 2016 it has been reported), but how this has become so protracted and vitriolic makes no sense, unless it is to cover egregious conduct. I just get the impression that the Awan deal, the Rich murder, the e-mails on Weiner's laptop, etc are all being neglected while this circus keeps people distracted. I am not normally a tin foil hat guy, but I am starting to reach for the red pill.aggiehawg said:The problem is that the spying (or attempted infiltration) on the Trump campaign began before the alleged "hack" of the DNC computers. Donald Trump and crew are under pressure because of moronic moves they've made themselves.
If Mueller finds evidence that holds up in a court of law, we might see an impeachment and jail sentence for obstruction of justice.
Looking forward to what comes next.
It's sickening to even think of this, but what if there's a third explanation, i.e. that Mueller has given him blanket immunity, as Ms. Hawg has suggested is a possibility.Quote:
