DOJ won't oppose it.BMX Bandit said:
That's a very "slanted" way of saying what happened.
Carter Page filed a MOTION FOR RELIEF UNDER THE CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS ACT. DoJ & Clinemith being given chance to respond to it
So you agree that we are in crapfest here where attorneys have no freakin' zero idea of what is happening now?BMX Bandit said:
I really have no idea either.
But Sperry wasn't exactly being honest in his tweet

Yes, but 4 weeks? Are the attorneys "slow"? Perhaps the judge has a lot of holidays events to attend.

Hell if I know. Something to read while he sits on the crapper or jerks off?Quote:
Thanks--what is the point of these amicus filings if he has already been pardoned?
Good question. My guess is the August 2017 one from Strzok.3 Toed Pete said:
Which version of the Flynn 302 is going to be released?
- The original that was emailed around the FBI and DOJ for input
- The one originally entered into the FBI computer system and then deleted
- The very latest version
When I first saw a resumption of Sullivan news few minutes ago, I thought Sullivan was going to go ahead and sentence Flynn.aggiehawg said:Good question. My guess is the August 2017 one from Strzok.3 Toed Pete said:

Why direct amicus briefs be filed in a case wherein DOJ has filed to dismiss with prejudice and the defendant has received a presidential pardon? What's the point, legally speaking? I don't see one. Flynn has no obligation to respond to any of them, nor to show up for any hearing on them, as I understand it.BMX Bandit said:aggiehawg said:Hell if I know. At what point does someone (SCOTUS?) either file a (whatever legal document is appropriate, IANAL) or at least pick up the phone and tell Sullivan to cut out the chicanery. He failed. He's making a mockery of the federal judiciary at this point. It's embarassing.aggiehawg said:Why direct amicus briefs be filed in a case wherein DOJ has filed to dismiss with prejudice and the defendant has received a presidential pardon? I am not sure that Flynn is still technically under the jurisdiction of Sullivan's court if he doesn't show up, that contempt would be available? IDK.
So you don't think Flynn is still under the specific jurisdiction of Sullivan's court after the pardon? So if Sullivan enters a minute order setting a hearing and commanding Flynn and counsel to appear, he won't have conempt power if they fail to do so?Aggie Jurist said:
I think I would ignore any of the amici and not show up for any hearing. Sullivan is a monumental POS - he's acting like a Mississippi state court judge, not a member of the federal judiciary. What a contemptable POS.
Sullivan may think it is his job to have as many authorities as possible state on the record what a scumbag Flynn is, so Trump's pardon seems egregious.aggiehawg said:Why direct amicus briefs be filed in a case wherein DOJ has filed to dismiss with prejudice and the defendant has received a presidential pardon? I'd show up in beach attire, kick my feet up on the table and generally do anything but recognize Sullivan at all. Screw around on my phone, listen to headphones, scratch my ass.fasthorse05 said:
I've got to admit, if Sullivan didn't have contempt power, I'll write Flynn myself and tell him to show up to Sullivans court sometime next week.
It would be VERY entertaining if Flynn would go Andrew Dice Clay on Sullivan.
It cant' be that easy can it?fasthorse05 said:
Y'all, apparently Sullivan has dismissed the case against Flynn.
I'll go hunt it down, and try to slap it out there. I'll read about it in a couple of hours, but business is calling.
