I think it's more along the lines of handing Flynn and Sidney a mountain of evidence that he could use to ruin everyone in civil court. All of these clowns sitting fat on their government pay/pensions. Just the pursuit of justice should be enough to force the future Comeys and Brennans of the world to think twice before they violate their oath of office again.
That concern is at the heart of why Gen. Flynn plead guilty to a false charge in the first place (as it relates to knowingly false prosecution of his son).
I don't know how to fix it, but the government's ability to not only use it's full weight and power against you but to also cause you to go broke in the process regardless of the outcome (meaning even if you win you lose) is a really scary thing.

I questioned why this announcement and why now. Agree that it is likely a PR BS move. Doesn't make logical sense...unless...Durham has his FBI ducks in a row. Wray has been given permission to posture like that.Quote:
