This whole f'ing deal is absolute madness.

The sheriff did a 2 hour interview with LV news a few weeks ago. He'd apparently lost a lot of his wealth since Sept 2015. Started buying most of the weapons in Oct 2016. Narcissistic personality battling depression. Doing a pathology of his brain to look for any triggers, particularly anything that might have surfaced in the past year. Says the girlfiend is still claiming she didn't know but thinks she's holding back. Just nothing jumping out on him other than mental illness. Thinks the brother is mentally ill too and was manic in those interviews after.

Says he keeps expecting tonfind something, but there really just isnt anything there so far other than a delressed mentally ill narcissist whose ego had taken a hit from the money loss. Depressed and angry over loss of status. Says he took the bags in over multiple days

I read the same thing from his press conference. I think by this point if there was some connection to something else such as organized crime, gunrunning, antifa, ISIS or something else it would have been discovered already.

Doesn't fit any conspiracy theory so the tin foil hat brigade will just have to dig in and assume it was some super secret deep state operation, to either make guns look bad, or to protect what was found at Roswell or some other nonsense.

It is hard for some to accept that it was just mental illness. Of course the reality is that most of these mass shootings do involve mental illness unless ideologically/religiously motivated like San Bernardino or Pulse nightclub.

I don't think there is a conspiracy outside of keeping his motive under wraps. Given the political discourse in this country, it seems pretty clear the guy was a lib and wanted to kill some likely Trump supporters. If that got out you'd possibly see some retribution, but would sure see calls for lib politicians to shut up, Mueller to go away, etc.

I was there 2 days after the shooting. When Trump came on that Wed ypu would bot know he was even there. By that Friday the place was rocking.
