Just watched the Ellen interview and Jesus Campos and Stephen Schuck seemed very normal and credible. Glad they both made it out of this relatively unscathed. Hope the media will give them their privacy like they asked for. They have no obligation to answer to anyone else.

I am in Vegas right now and they are setting up a festival in the parking lot at the Linq. Looking down from the 33rd floor of Harrah's it was alarming how repeatable this tragedy could be and how surprised I am that it had not happened sooner. They have a lot of heightened security but personally I am shocked that another festival is going on so soon.

A lot of hotels have shatter proof windows to keep people from falling out or committing suicide. Not sure why MB didn't. I bet Wynn does.

If it wasn't built with it film can be easily added. That's where MB may be liable.

*Media critics have asked why Campos was sent alone to the 32nd floor? Because of budget cuts and severe understaffing, MGM guards are almost always sent alone on calls.

*Incredibly, MGM security has never been trained for mass shooting, or terror attack scenarios. No one had any idea what to do. My sources say they still don't.

*MGM has no TAC team. Wynn has a TAC team. Wynn has been training for a mass casualty scenario since 2015. MGM is just starting that training now.

*The timeline for the shooting is not easy to establish. Yes, traffic on MGM radios (when they work) is recorded. But it's very hard to retrieve and piece together accurate timelines.

These aren't my opinions or observations. MGM's own security supervisors and employees painted this picture vivid terms. It's an eye-opener.

That's a pretty standard order. The fact that a judge issued that order in no way implies that MB did or was suspected of destroying evidence.

Are those replacement windows? If so they should have matched the color a little better, because that will always be a reminder of what happened.

Good point.

Am I remembering correctly from one of the press conferences that the sheriff or FBI had said they thought they had the motive? If so, I guess my conclusion is that they are investigating other people who might have been involved or who might be planning other attacks.

That would be a room of extra work. Plus that would require them to break and redo seals that aren't leaking.

I haven't seen it on any of the 132 pages, yes, I've read it all, but I believe the police to be reporting that Paddock was killed by putting a pistol in his mouth.....However, the coroner reported a clean shot to the middle of the forehead......anyone heard more on this??
