They just announced it on nbc nightly news
Except they have nobody else leaving the room, usmcbrooks said:Bobcat06 said:
That video acts like he was running back and forth between windows, but one window was aimed at the fuel tanks and another at the concert.
Did he alternate between shooting at the concert and at the fuel tanks? That seems inefficient

I think this video is leaning more toward multiple shooters. I doubt this guy who falls when wearing flip flops was running room to room.

The timeline change is HUGE...
If the security guard was shot 6 min before he opened up on the concert, then there is no good reason for him to be that heavily armed and then shut it down...
They are hiding something about this story...
Jason Aldean was scheduled to take the stage at 9:40pm per the program guide. How long his performance was supposed to last I don't know. Below is a video of him when the shooting started. It doesn't look like a finale presentation venue, but I really can't say. Also, the Harvest Festival program states that festivities generally go on until circa midnight. The website for the festival has been shut down.Aggiebrewer said:Quote:
So this may have precipitated Paddock initiating his attack on the concert crowd sooner than he had planned.
But wasn't the attack started during the last song of the concert?
Quote:
They had credited Campos, who was shot in the leg, with stopping the 10-minute assault on the concert crowd by turning the gunman's attention to the hotel hallway, where Campos was checking an alert for an open door in another guest's room.

Lombardo also revised the date on which police believe Paddock checked into Mandalay Bay. While initially they said he had checked in on Sept. 28, three days before the shooting, they now believe he checked in on Sept. 25.

This is the first mention I've actually seen of what tripped the door alarm

That was the original story they say is not true anymore. They say now he got shot before the windows were even broken out

I'm talking about the door alarm. They had mentioned the door alarm multiple times, but I had never seen that it was another guest's room that was ajar.

But it doesn't explain why he ended it with only using a fraction of his arsenal...
Something ain't passing the smell test on this deal...
It's not a lot of "maybes" when each one is an alternative, any one of which alone might explain why he stopped shooting when he did. When you have many potential explanations, that makes it more likely that events happened that way, not less likely.cone said:
that's a lot of maybes and a whole lot of leftover ammo
My guess is, when you're an unhinged psycho about to go on a murderous rampage, the security guard who shows up right outside the door early, and starts messing with your preparations, becomes victim #1.Quote:
Also why shoot the guard at all?
If Paddock hadn't started firing, the guard had no reason to suspect his room.
