CBS will be reporting tonight on 60 Minutes that the note on the table contained ballistic calculations by Paddock, allowing his shots to be more accurate from such an elevated position.

Conspiracy theorists may think that the note was "planted".

Another report has Paddock caught on camera headed down a dead end road which leads to a shooting practice area.

This has to be the most non customer friendly business interaction over ever seen. Demanding customers put their hands in the air because a few people are walking through? WTH

Those are officers that formed a react team as per active shooter training. Nothing more, nothing less. Those skills are perishable and most officers don't routinely train for it unfortunately. That's why some of them look comfortable moving with a firearm and others don't. A few do have terrible muzzle discipline. The two random guys in the back aren't involved.

Most leads for a motive are showing up empty; remaining: the money trail needs followup as do the ISIS claims.

However, there is one issue that may end up being the plausible explanation: Paddock's father was a psychopath. There is evidence accumulating that psychopathy is an inheritable disorder. Google it for yourself.

It would be interesting to learn if any genetic studies were requested during Paddock's autopsy. (His brother as well.)

Supposedly a witness to the massacre and his daughter decided to commit suicide together. To add to it, the charger found in Paddock's room was a charger for unique devices used by the government and the father that killed himself was a design exec for the company.
