Sorry, still not buying it as a very effective method.
Why would he have to duck radar? McCarran's got a huge general aviation terminal and people fly in there all the time. Dude could even have taken off from there, declared an emergency, turned around and flown in.
And it's not like it was dark, they had a concert going on with huge spotlights on the stage and crowd.

You brought it up, not me. If you're talking about automatic guns pre 1986 being prohibitively expensive, I'm asking how much. Also, I would say it doesn't matter what year a gun was made - I'm pro guns, but if they are illegal now it doesn't matter to me what year it was manufactured.

Authorities must be keeping some things secret. Everything published indicates this guys had a pretty good life but seems kind of like a loner... planes, multiple homes in FL, Las Vegas, and other states... seemed to travel around a lot.... had some girlfriend and that relationship... well I'm curious what we will learn about her if anything ever. Rare for someone with this guys seeming wealth and lifestyle to commit such a crazy act. Maybe suicidal but this desire to kill others is way out of place. I'm sure the investigators will unearth some sort of anger or ideology (or mental illness) behind his actions, but they haven't given any hints yet.

If you read through the entire thread they figure out that the date shown of the photo is from the data in the file of when the photo was taken but it does not show the date it was edited. Basically google is showing the date it was taken but it does show it was modified today before posting if you analyze it. Dude added the triangulation lines today and posted.
His username as also Az flyguy led of some to believe it was the shooter posting it. But it was not. Poster had posted several similar things before from hotels he stayed in. He just happened to stay in that suite in 2015 and took then 360 view pic.
Those 4chan freaks are hard to follow between all of the insults and cussing each other out. It's like the football board.

Heard a caller on the radio today and didn't see it mentioned here so I figured I'd share.
Guy calls in to talk radio show who was a former neighbor of his for a little less than a year in Mesquite (didn't specify if Texas or Nevada IIRC).
Anyways, this guy who called is former military and said to him this doesn't fit. He says Paddock and him would hang out together randomly at a bar that was right around the corner....would talk, BS around...he'd play this slot machine game at the bar and all that.
But the biggest thing, was that this guy who was former military would mention things like his service, guns, government, etc....and Paddock showed zero signs of any hard feelings towards it.
Never talked about guns. Really never brought up government or any feelings toward it. Wasn't a religious fanatic.
Just chit chatted a lot and after work in afternoons would sit outside in the driveway to relax and wave at people as they walked by.
This guy was so convinced that Paddock couldn't have done this, that he feels he wasn't the shooter. That whoever the shooter was killed him and left his body there to make it appear he did it.

Very weird to get to that age with a spotless record and then pull something like this. But I'm sure the casino footage has plenty of video of him going/coming on his own. Psychopaths can be decent at putting up a front. They can be quite bright and manipulative. I'm wondering if he's committed murder before (or other psychopathic/deviant behavior) but was smart enough to get away with it.
