Is she just a scammer??? Or....

Why does he need money? Mandalay Bay will pay for everything (surgery, counseling, paid leave or workers comp)

Paddock's house in Reno was broken into

PURE COINCIDENCE! Oy vey, now we can't use any of this evidence that we have gathered from the house because it has all been tainted so it needs to be thrown out.

I'm beginning to think there is a much larger conspiracy going on in the background now.

Maybe they were just common thieves looking for part of his gun collection.

It's time for Trey Gowdy to conduct sensational Congressional hearings, make inflammatory/threatening comments about all suspects, complete multiple rounds of TV/radio news shows, and then close the investigation with no meaningful results. Wait for it.
No joke. A lot of respectable conservatives on this board give that clown too much credit. He hasn't done jack **** about all the obvious corruption in DC.

I found a gofund me page that reference another fraudulent page. The one Infound, I searched for the name of the owner and same person was interviewed and quoted in a few press articles. So I think there is a legit page and a fake one.

Literally no witnesses of Paddock firing the weapon.
No witnesses of Campos getting shot.
No witnesses of Paddock getting shot.

I wondered yesterday why Campos hasn't been interviewed. Why hasn't he realeased a statement? As a hero there is money to be made.
He could literally become the Paul Blart of the rent a cop world. Good speaking fees at conventions, maybe write a book. No kidding.

Yes, I know how guns are traced. Thank you.

I just grow tired of misinformation and people saying things that simply are not true. Only a handful of states require any form of registry. Yet people seem to think any time you purchase a firearm in this country it is "registered" to you. Sigh.

Gowdy is just another in a long line of Republicans that I had a lot of hope for than basically delivered nothing.

I'm not in LE, but I would just assume that the home of the perpetrator of largest mass shooting in US history would have some sort of round the clock security, especially only about nine days after the event.

But that's just me.

edit - and if it didn't, should we just laugh that off as more ineptitude by the govt?

Yeah you would think so wouldn't you? But apparently either our intelligence agencies are completely incompetent or they are involved. No other explanation makes sense.

lol I obviously did not mean that your name goes on some master state or national registry list... the ATF was able to track down every store he bought all 47 guns from. Those serial numbers link those guns to Stephen Paddock.

You're making it seem like it is completely impossible to link a gun's serial number to the purchaser which is obviously not true. The gun stores have records of who it was sold to and when.

I own about 12-13 guns, I know exactly how the process works.

I am mostly staying out of this one, but it is funny to watch the full on conspiracy theorists argue with the full on no way there is a conspiracy people. They're both so sure of their view that they ignore simple things. While both sides are completely sure the other is insane.

So, now that I think about it, it really is just a microcosm of any political debate at this point.

Interesting question I just read:

Did Trump meet with hero Jesus Campos while in Vegas? Seems like a good photo-op. Maybe he did.

Has the brother resurfaced since his FBI interview? I figured he would since he seemed to have liked the camera

Yup. We'll see what happens, but the story changes so often I'm not sure why anyone should be expected to believe the authorities after this is all said and done.

https://www.today.com/news/las-vegas-hotel-workers-took-cover-hallway-after-gunman-opened-t117342

Quote:

A building engineer at the Las Vegas hotel where Stephen Paddock was holed up during his massacre last week described being pinned down in a hallway after the gunman opened fire on him from behind the door of his hotel suite shooting perch.

Stephen Schuck was one of the first people to encounter Paddock when he went to check out a faulty fire exit door on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay and Casino on Oct. 1, according to a new timeline of events.

Go to link. Has 5 minute video of interview with the maintenance man who was on the 32nd floor along with Campos. Interesting.

Maybe I missed this being discussed, but is that video of paddock in the room in that interview? I saw it questioned during a much shorter clip of that guy in the room a few pages back but didn't see anything else mentioned. Is that the TV on in the background?

Sorry, I thought you were implying that his guns couldn't be traced because no NV state registry. My apologies.

If Jesus Campos was real and a hero, wouldn't the left be politicizing the hell out of an immigrant who was a hero?

Maybe they are, but I haven't seen anything.

Me either. But I've known of thieves targeting homes at the time of a funeral by seeing the owners names in the obituary, so thieves thinking he might have more guns isn't too much of a stretch.

to be fair, this is a home in Reno, not Vegas. Perhaps there was nothing of interest found there, so they just tapped it up and left it. hopefully his main residence is being guarded.

I know thieves are dumb in the first place, but it would take a special kind of stupid for someone to knowingly rob the house belonging to the biggest mass shooter in the history of the U.S while the FBI and countless other law enforcement agencies are investigating it.

I would actually buy that except the home belonged to a guy that just committed the largest mass shooting in American history... that home - and his others - would become extensions of the crime scene and probably be surveiled, cataloged, etc... maybe not, but it's hard for me to wrap my head around there not being some FBI presence there for a least a couple of weeks... especially considering that they seem to presently have zero leads or motives.

Exactly. They also said they noticed nothing was taken (that they can tell). Who risks breaking into a house to steal nothing.

Wonder what was in there that someone would risk getting caught breaking into this house for... must've been pretty important. You know everyone in that general area knew exactly whose house that was.

Getting caught breaking into Paddock's house would get you a very extended interview with the FBI

Agree with special kind of stupid. But is it the FBI being stupid enough to let another stupid get away with it or is it FBI stupid for thinking they could fake a ordinary break in at one of Paddock's homes?
