Jesus called God "Holy Father". Shouldn't the honor of "Holy Father" be reserved for God alone? Even Jesus frequently deferred the glory and honor to God the Father. Shouldn't the Catholic Church do the same?
John 14:28
You heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
