Thanks, guys. Her first test is tomorrow to see if things are "sticking." We'll see if this is for real.
Thank you!RetiredAg said:
Awesome news! Oh, and don't worry. You're never going to be financially or emotionally "ready" for it. Just grab on to something and hold on for dear life over the next 18 years.

Got the test results just now. Things "stuck" so for now, it's indeed happening!
I know how you feel and you are in my prayers. I'm going through a particularly rough time myself right now (career and life in general) and would appreciate prayers as well.drevans956 said:
The challenges of life wear us all down at times, unfortunately, this is my time. Stalled career, trying to gain new employment, not going well, wife's health is poor, one son struggling with life in general, second son struggling in college, both need more financial support than I can provide now. My mother and wife's father both in nursing homes and doing very poorly, they were both strong believers when they had mental faculties but now you really can't tell.
I sometimes ask myself what have we done wrong to get the pile of challenges we get when others seem to glide through unscathed and unchallenged. I know God never said things would be fair in this life and that believers will be rewarded. Hard to watch so many nonbeliever be rewarded in this life.
Sour grapes week I need to overcome! I'm always reminding myself of the "footprints in the sand when God is carrying the troubled soul during the hard times when we think we are abandoned"!

Thanks everyone.
They got back home around 330 this morning.
Baby has a bruised side, but other than that, he's a healthy baby! For how dependent they are on us, they sure are durable.
Grandma was heading home today and left. She was still pretty upset with herself no matter how many times we told her accident happen.

Will definitely pray. I have long struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts (not saying you're at that point), so if you'd like to just vent or anything, you can email me at christianpacifist@hotmail.com.

Usually don't like to bring others into my own dealings, but would love some prayers for depression and a couple other things me/many others struggle with on a daily basis.
