God Bless each of you, those that are struggling, continue to struggle, or praying for others. Thank you all for your prayers for those of us struggling and those with family members dealing with challenges. I've had to stop trying to make sense or evaluate the fairness of situations ... life isn't fair or equitable to everyone so nothing I can do about that part (no matter how much we pray or how hard we work).

Hi folks. I never post on this board, and I probably won't post here again.
My son (16) is having a lot of issues with depression and anxiety. He also is doing a lot of rebellious stuff, you know, like a teenager. He hangs out with kids we don't approve of, he says he is going to one friend's house but goes to a different one instead, stuff like that. He is also just very hateful and selfish.
I suppose this all sounds very typical teenage behavior. However, he also threatens to runaway and sometimes does for a day. He also wants to kill himself at times and says he will for sure be dead within two years.
We know this is a mental health issue, and we take him to a psychiatrist. We also know that this is spiritual. He uses his anxiety as a crutch as to why he doesn't want to go to church, and it is obvious to us that he derails our Sunday mornings because of church. He is fine if we are going somewhere crowded that isn't church. It is very important to us that we all go to church as a family. Should we leave him at home? If we leave him, who knows what he will do. It also sends the message that we dont want to send about the importance of worship.
We have 3 other children, and they are all angels, doing well in school and life. What went wrong with this one? Please pray for us. We have no idea what to do. Thank you.

I had to.take my poor dog to die at the vet the day before yesterday. my other dog died this time last year. I went from having two to none in a short time. my house is a sad place now.

Prayers my friend. Sometimes I find myself not wanting to love my dogs so much because I know how much it hurts when they die. But we still do it.

My wife, a devout Catholic and stricken with ALS, one of the cruelest of diseases, is in the final 2-3 days of her life at a hospice facility. We've been married 47 years and have 2 wonderful sons and 9 grandchildren, all of whom will miss her love and devotion. Please pray for a peaceful transition.

Friends I need prayers for my husband - W. He has depression and his job is hit hard with closings from the virus. He's not himself. I pray that he will seek counseling, but he hates to spend money on himself. Pray for joy and peace in this uncertain time. Pray he will seek advice and methods to lift his outlook.

I have a lot of responsibilities I'm shuffling right now with the kids home and work going full throttle through this virus scare. I made a typo mistake on something for work. I owned up to it but our director still called it out and went on a long speech about how we have to be more detailed.
I usually am, just struggling doing it from home with so many distractions.
Anyhow, I keep playing it over in my head and am stressed. Need the peace that surpasses all understanding tonight.

one of my friends lost a brother to Covid and now her other brother is in the hospital with it. shoot up a prayer for him please..and for her as she deals with the loss and being very far away from family (they are in Iran, she is here)

We've talked about Jordan Cooper on various threads before (he's a Lutheran Minister), but he and his wife could use some prayers.
He said the other day that both he and his wife lost their jobs working in campus ministry. This is right after having bought a house.
He also looks to be going through some things from the looks of his twitter account.
