I want to be clear, I don't like Jason. However, he has proven capable in challenges and won't be easy to evict.

I think devens wearing the suit is supposed to be funny since it is the opposite of what he would wear in survivor but I could be way off. He seems like the type to do goofy stuff like that just because.

No, he definitely wore a suit on Survivor.

And it was equally ridiculous.

Oh, did not know that but that seems like his personality so it makes sense. I only have time for one competition game show like this so I haven't searched as much survivor.

It's there for a reason: so they have something to show on Thursday. Otherwise you get all the dumb home visits which are boring as hell. Same reason the shot in the dark is on Survivor: it gives a player one last chance, and makes everyone else have a contingency plan in place. If you have to consider that someone may pull themself down at the last minute, it creates more drama, which makes for better television.
I didn't like it at first as well, but I get why it's there.

Yeah, I didnt like it at first either but some years I follow those who follow the feeds and years without it have sometimes been really boring Monday through thursday because they already know what is going to happen. Now they are constantly talking and working the game because they have to.

I get the plusses of it but it most definitely makes the game less about big shocking moves.

without the immediate back door, hardly anyone makes huge moves like they used to. It did work last week with Rome.

I dislike having to put up three/four people every week. Gets an unnecessary amount of blood on the HOHs hands.

The Tea Party "blow up" was fairly mild. I am not sure Jason has any real allies. So many people admit in the diary room they can't trust him. The pot banging is beyond annoying. It's time for him to go.

It was a dumb move by Kamu to do the blow up at the Tea Party when everyone already knew Jason was the re-nom. His overall alliance had to do clean up in the aftermath to secure votes in case Jason wins blockbuster. I do not know how much they will show in the edit tonight. Last night's show left out the long awkward silences that occurred in-between talking, obviously cut for time.

After the Tea Party and some of the points Jason made, it hit people in the face they have little chance to make jury with Devens, Dee, Angela, Kamu, Haley, Chuk, Barrett, and maybe Drew still around in the next few weeks.

As much as I hated Jason this week I actually bought into the idea of keeping him last night just for the sake of the game.

It would have been pretty sweet to see that line drawn if Drew and Barrett would have voted La La out.

now...the Melody side of the house is in big trouble unless they win HOH.

I miss a good old fashioned HOH comp on Thursday at the end of the episode. It would be nice to know the direction going into Sunday without having to check spoiler websites.

I'm just glad they didn't give Devens the coup d'etat. That was the biggest made up garbage I have ever seen on a Big Brother, simply made up to save Jordan.

It did at least give us the great moment of Jesse's harem crying and mourning like he died, and the whole Chima freak-out

Live feeders spent the whole weekend thinking Drew had a power and screwed up by not using it this week. Mallory was the other popular choice for having a power. Dee had told Devens yesterday she didn't get the power. Tonight we find out Drew is just an idiot for throwing the HoH and Dee got a lame ass power

Haley takes pettiness to the next level. I had seen some of that Drew speculation (that he got the power), so I was surprised when Dee got it.

All the veterans (I am not calling them icons) have had their shot for power/punishment. Time for someone else to grab an advantage. I'm thinking it might be Barrett.

So far, this week is a perfect example of the natural pettiness of the human female and why there will NEVER be a successful all girls alliance. Not that this group even tried.

Lyric trying to go to the other side is fine...her side is clearly toast

but there is a huge difference in jumping ship, and doing what she did when she took a private conversation with Mallory and went and tried to use it for leverage with Haley. that is just ridiculous.

I cant stand Haley but glad she called out Lyric for it.
