This might be a stupid question, but will it still be on Imax in most theaters March 16-24?

want to go with my son who goes to Oklahoma state. that's their soring break.

I imagine so. This is just the early access weekend they have out for sale right now.

After the early access IMAX showings you should have just under two weeks to see it in IMAX, from the afternoon of Thursday, March 19 to the afternoon of Tuesday, March 30, as the next IMAX movie release is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on Wednesday, April 1.

Do we know when actual tickets are going to go on sale?

i just watched the latest trailer. i wish they had done his voice and subtitles.

I still think they got Rocky wrong. No radiator and it looks like rock monster from Galaxy Quests let dog. They had a better template with the space spiders from Lost in Space.

Gotta make'em cute for the younger demographic.

I also imagined Rocky to be quite a bit bigger than he seems to be in the trailers. Though I'd have to go back and reread the book to see how big he was supposed to be.

Either way I'm optimistic for this adaptation. Looks good from what I've seen so far.

This has me hyped more than some of the trailers. From everything it sounds like it will be a faithful adaptation, which is something I wish more writers and directors would understand when adapting other source material for a book(Halo, the Witcher, and the M Night The last airbender for starters). Do NOT change a story because of ego or some political agenda. Is it little wonder how Lord of the Rings is the best movie trilogy of all time, because they followed the books and respected the source material even when they had to edit the story.
