I will be very disappointed if it's a linear story.

I still think they got Rocky wrong. No radiator and it looks like rock monster from Galaxy Quests let dog. They had a better template with the space spiders from Lost in Space.

I also imagined Rocky to be quite a bit bigger than he seems to be in the trailers. Though I'd have to go back and reread the book to see how big he was supposed to be.
Either way I'm optimistic for this adaptation. Looks good from what I've seen so far.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but maybe dial back the hyperbole a bit, Josh. Especially that last sentence. Goodness.

One of the worst trends in Hollywood aside from the trailers giving away way too much is we can no longer trust effusive praise for a movie. I hope Josh is right but I've been burned way too many times.

A giant kick off to their new theatrical slate and going to be an immediate Oscar contender. @RyanGosling at his very best. pic.twitter.com/RGv7Y59W4Q

Exciting news to share about the various formats you can see Project Hail Mary in cinemas. We shot everything that happens in space (3/4 of the movie) in native 1.43:1 aspect ratio, and everything on earth (1/4) at a 2.39:1 aspect ratio.
