Wedding Crashers over TDKR all day long.

Yes I'm saying i was surprised TDKR had made it so easily this far. As my buddy said, why am I watching a Batman movie that barely has Batman in it?

94 votes already in as you scrubs finally return to work and immediately get on TexAgs.

Two matchups are at 50%-50%

Two more are under 10 votes difference.

Everything else is pretty much locked in, two movies getting over 80% today.

I belief the giffing of all results and matchups will start tomorrow.

Any reason not to have it be 1 day of voting each round for the whole week now that everyone is back to work?

I think we all know where this final is headed. Maybe in 2050 it will be different.

Surprising performance by Whiplash. I guess it had some favorable matchups

Whiplash is fantastic. I'm surprised by Moneyball and the first Pirates movie.

Moneyball is doing what I thought the Social Network would do.

The first pirates is one of the biggest surprise hits of all time - hilarious, action filled, clever, and has one of the greatest debuts of an original character in the last 50 years.

Do we finally see a LotR movie go down? Will be interesting to see the board's thoughts on TT vs Gladiator.

TTT has my favorite subplot and soundtrack of the LOTR trilogy - the Rohan stuff - but it is the weakest of the three films overall.

ROTK will probably win, but FOTR is my favorite by a mile. What gorgeous world building

The difference in good movies having likeable vs unlikeable characters imo. Both are really good movies, but I liked the characters in Moneyball way more

If that's the case, the winner damn well better be The Dark Knight! If Jack Sparrow can carry Pirates this far then Ledger's Joker should be able to win the whole thing (combined with Nolan's direction and incredible action sequences).
