This was hard for me. I think the married life scene in Up is one of the most moving sequences in animation, but I went with the more cerebral sci-fi.

A Few Notes on the First Round

  • 168 votes cast in all.
  • I prematurely apologized to Spilner for matching up ROTK vs. Toy Story 3 in Round 2. Toy Story 3 was ahead by about 5% over A Beautiful MInd all day, but ABM won 87-81.
  • Gladiator the BMOC in Round 1 with 164 of 168 votes. The Secret Lives of Others received 4 of the first 45 votes, then got skunked the rest of the way.
  • Superbad beat the Prestige by 4 votes, 86-82 It was tied up until about 8:30 p.m. today.
  • My biggest regret on first round matchups was Training Day & The Social Network. I've come to think The Social Network is a top 10 movies of the last 25 years.

Well whoever it is, it's not me. Message boards are just mindless downtime fillers for me, there's no one the internet I care enough about to mess with and would never consider that kind of drama relaxing. But good luck in your mole hunt.
Fun fact, not long after I first started posting on this site, I made the mistake of venturing onto the political board, where I was quickly accused of being a sock for Tanya. At that point I had to look up what a sock even was (and see who Tanya was), while a bunch of people jumped in and applauded the poster for his awesome detective skills. It was actually Aggiehawg who defended me, but that was about my last foray there, that place is a special brand of "obsessed". Now I mostly just post in the forums my UF site doesn't have - history soccer outdoors and here. But I guess the same silliness is everywhere.
