No logical person can think this was a great film. Nolan should work for Apple. That is a match made in heaven. I feel like Elaine from Seinfeld when everyone is slobbering all over The English Patient. Kudos to CN for getting me absolutely triggered about such a meh movie. Every movie he has done was nails, but his last 2 when compared to the rest of his work, you can't possibly call this a great film. I would gladly fight someone over this, but my teeth are far too valuable.

People need to quit saying the character should have been Achilles. If you've seen the movie, you know the character of Achilles makes zero sense. It's fine to say Page was miscast, and was not good for the role (which is what I think), but the character needed to be Sinon for the version of the story Nolan is telling. Having it as Achilles would ruin a lot.

I'm glad that we all made the uproar about certain actors playing roles that don't fit the actual characters. It prepared me ahead of time. So, when I went to watch the movie, I didnt put too much thought into it and just enjoyed the story and the thrill that watching it in IMAX could bring.

I think it was a very well done movie and really liked it.

Now when is Anne Hathaway going to play MLK?

No, not the point of Nolan's Odyssey. Nolan has a different take. I can't go into detail without spoiling the movie, but for Nolan's Odyssey, if he had used Achilles instead of Sinon, it would have made no sense. It works for what Nolan did.

Then adapt Virgil and a title like Lee's The Mummy

My 14 year old turns out is really interested to check this thing out....so we're leaving our youngest at home and my two older and my wife are going to check this thing out.

And since this is sounding like a pretty decent epic...we are waiting until next Friday and going to the IMAX in Sugar Land...we have NEVER done an IMAX movie before so curious to finally see the hype regarding these screens...
