I said out loud to my kids "so it just shed its skin and became a new ship?" I'm not sure the "logistics" of that actually being viable, but hey, whatever. Now they can get close to the pirates without Jod knowing it's them.

I wonder what happened to Smee. Probably not going to really be useful anymore.

I'm 44 and I did the same thing.

This show is great, I really enjoy it. Back in the 80s when I was the age of the kids on this show all the Star Wars characters were adults. Kids today can watch this show and see people their own age taking space ships, going into hyperspace, sneaking into a pirate base, smuggling, and just going on an adventure across the galaxy. Kind of shocking they didn't figure this out before...young Anakin in The Phantom Menace was as close as they got.

Just trying to be accurate because so much of this is so misunderstood. There's already a new set of "Christopher Nolan doesn't use CGI" posts going around twitter.

But I loved the feel of this and awesome that legend Phil Tippett was involved, it's got a cool old school vibe.

I liked the other Goonies nod where since they couldn't agree they split up.

And they are doing a good job of putting the kids in high stakes positions with real danger (neglecting the fact we know all the kids survive cuz it's a series) without getting morbid or terrifying with it. Again hitting that 80's kids adventure balance just right

Jumped in and watched the 6 available episodes. This show is very good. Best stuff since Andor and Mandalorian. May be more entertaining than the Mandalorian with its story and mystery.
