I've tried. I just can't like their sound. Goal for this thread is not to debate it. Name another famous group or musician that you're "supposed" like but just can't do it.

I literally change the station or skip all of their songs.

I'm in the middle of a Springsteen run and I know he'll eventually go full caricature, but he's not there yet. I've enjoyed it a lot so far.

I got about 10 albums in on The Rolling Stones and while I appreciate them, they aren't really for me. I'd rather listen to the Who or something. But even the Who are pretty weird.

Revisiting your favorite bands' discography is weird!

It always amazes me how much hate Bruce gets here. Maybe it's an age thing, in his time he was the perfect blend of the older folk and emerging rock traditions. And he grew as he went, which is rare.

For me it's Fleetwood Mac though. I don't hate them, I just have no idea why they are considered as great as they are. The music is fine, but it isn't very deep or innovative.

And just to peave the board I will throw in GNR.

Prince is just a ***. I don't think he qualifies as somebody we're all supposed to like.

As a white fan of older hard rock and metal, I feel like I'm supposed to like Zeppelin, but other than a few songs Robert Plants voice is just annoying. Same goes for Rush.

For me it has to be Prince. Just don't get it at all.

With Boston, some of their stuff works, but I also agree in that I'm not as huge of a fan of what I've listened to from them as others definitely seem to be.
