I tried looking for a thread on Dark but could not find one.
I just finished the series and WOW!! One of the best shows I have ever watched. If you are looking for a new series to watch, I cannot recommend this show enough. It is a German series currently streaming on Netflix. You can watch with English audio and subtitles, which may be weird for some, but it is so worth the watch. It is only three seasons long (10, 8, and 8 episodes in each season) with each episode about an hour long. It is not a show you can just mindlessly watch as you really have to pay attention as details will come back full circle.
Without giving too much away, the series revolves around four families and how they are all connected after a boy disappears from their small German town. A second kid disappears soon after throwing the small town for a loop. This science fiction show then takes several twists and turns that consistently had me audibly saying "What?!?" There are helpful Reddit threads for each episode where the moderators and contributors have done a good job of keeping the discussion to that specific episode and the ones before to avoid spoilers. It was helpful as you went along to keep the family trees straight in your head.
My all time favorite show is Breaking Bad and this show has probably cracked my top 5.
You're Welcome in advance.
