The cinematography/CGI looks identical to Fury Road to me. Y'all need to go back and watch it. They're both green-screened to hell, but the action is so damn good - and as practical as can be - that I could not care less.
Besides how some of the VFX in FURIOSA clearly aren’t done cooking, I bet people are complaining about the VFX partly because of the more intense color saturation, which further emphasizes the (beautiful, imo) artifice of the imagery beyond the already highly stylized FURY ROAD.

I think maybe some of y'all need to rewatch FURY ROAD and remember how much of that movie is digital FX. I also think, because we have seen this happen a bazillion times now, that every shot in that FURIOSA trailer will look 50% more polished by the time the movie arrives.

Is this a one-off or will it be a multi-film series?

Does the subtitle bother anyone else? I know it's nitpicky but it feels wrong to me haha
Yep. Reminds me of this trailer.TCTTS said:Besides how some of the VFX in FURIOSA clearly aren’t done cooking, I bet people are complaining about the VFX partly because of the more intense color saturation, which further emphasizes the (beautiful, imo) artifice of the imagery beyond the already highly stylized FURY ROAD.

It's set 15 years before Fury Road. Miller could of course make another one, further bridging the gap, but no plans to do so have been announced.
I was talking about the CGI used in Fury Road in this post.

It’s a creative choice and I don’t know why some are coming for George Miller over some trailer CGI in Furiosa.
I should have worded this better. pic.twitter.com/b2vdqDh9uT
Like there is so much green screen in that third act guys. And throughout the whole movie.

There's parts of the story people care about? It's not like there was a whole heck of lot of character development in Fury Road.
And who really needs it? It's a feast for the eyes.
