I don't think it was marketed that well. I enjoyed Furiosa so much more than I thought I would... I liked it more than Fury Road actually.
*We get the backstory & motivation of the Furiosa character.
*We see (at least implied) the development of Furiosa under Jack.
*We have multiple cities/locations - a larger universe. How they bartered/traded.
*The road battle scenes were even better IMO. I did miss the guitar guy.
*Dementus was great. A psycho with a bit of humor thrown in.
I agree not showing the final battle was a let down. I think even something as simple as showing a scene with Dementus driving towards the Citidel and showing Joe's army coming at him over the hills on all sides (ala an old Western movie) would have been more fulfilling.
I enjoy the "Road Warrior" universe... hope somewhere down the road we get another movie.
