It was last week's episode. I watched last night's episode and there were no beeps. It could have been a recorded version had the beeps. But on the other hand, I heard n words last night, but it was a black guy dropping them, so maybe it's not offensive to yt?


Side note: I thought Tony and the panel were really hard on the fat audience member. Am I missing someone? Is it one of their friends?

Girl from Tyler rolled with the punches. Had that been a dude Tony would have tried to get him laid. With a Netflix deal in the works you could see him curtail it on that.

Tony probably raging about that live phone bag circlejerk. You could see him getting pissed trying to do a live show and the crew somehow ill prepared.

I don't think it really worked for the crowd either. There were a few laughs, but you can hear the crowd groaning and him being a little defensive at the jokes that are being shared around right now.

I think the whole idea behind Tony's set there was in the line he delivered about comedy being dead on the left and that comedy lives in the republican party now. I think he was trying to prove that theory with getting laughs at his usual provocative racial comedy. I just think it wasn't a good idea for a political rally in the last weeks of the campaign. It's probably going to do more damage than it helps.

From that 30 second clip above I got the feeling that Tony was more so being ironic and making fun of the crowd/the right.

Jeselnik got his show cancelled at Comedy Central for celebrating the death of a guy killed by a shark by having strippers dressed up like sharks give him a lap dance on live television a day or two after it happened. He also caused major drama with his Boston Marathon bombing tweets a few hours after it happened.



All that to say that I think AJ is hilarious, but he has definitely crossed that line at times. Just like Tony.


Tony has made millions roasting people and now hosts one of the most watched shows that has ever existed. I don't think he's a hack by any stretch of the word. He definitely bombed yesterday though.

I think Tony kind of suffers in spots as a victim of his own success. I'd imagine as big as KT has gotten, and how fast his arena shows sell out now, he can easily buy into the idea that he's a well know national star comedian. Most of the people I know have no clue who he is.

So he probably went into that speech, thinking "most of these people know me and what I am". Not a good outcome.
