This is why I have harped on Rules of Engagement. We keep hearing that all anti-drone tech has been useless against these objects. Well, is that true? Have we really tried to take them down? If you believe Kirby, the answer is...NO. https://t.co/KpZusZDmS1

This is a great segment of reporting. Accurate.

1. I will affirm there are incursions over the Salem Nuclear Power Plant. The airspace is being violated by unknown units.
2. I will affirm that “anti-drone tech” has been ineffective to date.
3. I will affirm that there is FLIR…
Great work from @RichMcHugh confirming these supposed 'drones' were seen coming from the ocean. If they are over the ocean, then why can we not shoot them down? The answer, I'm told, is that they are evading the most high-tech US surveillance. More on this on our @NewsNation… https://t.co/t0tkBG6e46

NEW: Alejandro Mayorkas says there is nothing they can do about the NJ drones because they don't have the "authority" and suggests people are just mistaking them for drones bought at "convenience stores."

Just like any other event, fake news floods the internet. I always take a few seconds at least to watch the videos to spot easy fakes now. This one the gunfire is looped. Looks overlaid onto the lights video.TCTTS said:Mr President Elect said:

Good to know. At this point it's officially pointless to keep posting these videos.
Here's the original gun video. The faker chopped it up a little bit to spread over duration of lights video but it's the source material 100%.TCTTS said:
Totally. The gunfire looked so wonky to me that it felt real, if that makes sense. That, and I really like Matthew Pines, who retweeted it/gave it a bit more credibility. Seems we were both duped.
NEW: NewsNation reporter says his entire view of the New Jersey drones has changed after he witnessed 50 of them flying from the ocean.

The drones are reportedly 8-10 feet wide and can’t be detected because they don’t give off heat.

A film crew for ABC news were shocked by the appearance of this glowing 'Energy Orb' of light in New Jersey. These are the ones that interest me more than the drones.
Why are the orbs in play? pic.twitter.com/sJwq3umEcB

Seems LARPy to me, but it does check a lot of boxes. The P4 (the drone in the picture) is probably too small to carry detection equipment and "horn antennas". It can only carry a few pounds; it's a technology demonstrator, not a detection or weapons platform. But the P5 and P7 are much bigger with up to 10 times the payload, range, and loiter time.TCTTS said:— Bob's News (@dyversityhire) December 14, 2024
I can't help being very skeptical of videos claiming to be of energy orbs. I'm very near sighted. The pics and videos of "orbs" look *exactly* like what I see when I look at bright lights at night without glasses or contact lenses. But OTOH, trained cameramen would absolutely not make that mistake.TCTTS said:🚨BREAKING: "We Have No Idea What It Is"

Yep. I agree completely with this. Our government has proven time and again that they just can't help themselves when it comes to being straightforward and transparent about anything, even when it fuels conspiracy theories that, if left unchecked, erode public confidence even more.lunchbox said:This is the most plausible explanation I’ve seen so far. pic.twitter.com/yVB6Oh6fKK
